STARK AND MINIMAL...LESS IS DEFINITELY MORE
As it says in the handy little essay, Reeder deliberately used a more restricted sound-palette when putting this together. The result being, a beautifully retro-futuroid album of music. Highlights? Definitely Robert Smith doing a ghostly rendition of his Cure classic 'A Forest', and on a couple of tracks, the incomparable Vanessa Daou works her breathy magic. It's all good - definitely recommended.
