Has there been product confusion?
I have had good experience of Black Snake gear cables. The outer non-stick layer is sufficienty robust, you have to rub it hard to remove it. On the other hand a different well known manufacturer offers a gear cable with a white woven PTFE finish that drops off as soon as you look at it and definitely clogs in the cable outer - this is a product that I would not buy.

It works
What can I say? Threads through nicely, nice and slippy, stays in place when clamped down, hasn't stretched noticeably after a few hundred miles. No problems at all. it works.

Does the job OK. The outer easily frays, might be better with a normal steel cable next time. Alright for the money.

Might be a good product if it arrives intact...
Had it delivered, and the low friction coating on the cable is completely chewed up and coming off, this is clearly due to rubbish packaging. Cable may still work but I won't be using it to avoid risking damaging my shifter, very disappointed

Absolutely rubbish do not buy coating comes off while feeding through tubing and snapped after a few days use
