Easy@Home PdG Test Strips: 5-Pack Progesterone Urine Tests

Update: I did a comparison test of this brand and p****v on 3dpo and they both were comparable. I did notice this brand being slightly lighter but still with the same intensity of barely being there. 4dpo I did the same test and sadly both strips indicated a drop in pdg, maybe was because it was noon time urine, I do not know but I believe these tests to be accurate. It’s just so many variables to consider time of day, dpo day, concentration of urine. My recommendation is to purchase them but back it up with a doctor’s serum level if you are seriously concerned with your ability to ovulate. Changed to 5 stars :) Original review I did a baseline test and it had a second line. I thought it should be darker but it was dark. Then I tested on Ovulation day to make sure the second line was there and it was. Then on 2dpo I tested again just for giggles to see if there was any change because I know when my body releases an egg. It hurts pretty bad. HOWEVER, no giggles were had, the test was almost positive. Like the line was barely there. I was in shock. I have had this happen on 3dpo using another brand but still it is not the norm for me at all as I've struggled with low Progesterone. So then I read the reviews on here and discover the sensitivity levels are all over the place with these tests which makes me a lil sad because I thought my body was doing good all by itself this time. So I ordered the other brand to do a comparison hopefully on 3dpo or 4dpo, depending on when it comes in and I will update this report. I gave it 3 stars because at least was cheaper and it changed colors. I know that sounds lame but its the truth.

These tests are very easy to use and provide clear, reliable results. I like that they pair with the Premom app so I can track my progesterone levels alongside my other fertility data. The strips read quickly, and the instructions are straightforward. It really helps give peace of mind during the luteal phase to confirm ovulation. Great tool for anyone TTC and wanting more insight into their cycle!

These test strips were accurate but the fact that a positive result is just 1 line instead of 2 threw me off. They worked well in determining if I had ovulated which was something I wanted to rule out. Have been trying to conceive so these strips were helpful in determining what was going on during my cycle. Highly recommend these to anyone trying to conceive.

The premom app and these tests work great! I am surprised at how easy the app and strips are to use. These progesterone straps are a little more expensive, but compared to other similar options, I think they are a great value.

I purchased 2 different boxes of these for this cycle, and the first box worked great. I started testing on ovulation day because I was curious what my baseline was, and I saw a very clear progression to positive from 4-6 DPO with the first urine of the day. But I opened the second box and added them in with the first strips, and on 7DPO (also first urine of the day) grabbed one of the newer ones and had a negative so I was worried I had a weak ovulation and progesterone was dropping. I tested again an hour later with one from the first box (with what should have been more diluted urine after drinking water) and had a clear positive. These tests definitely work if you get an accurate batch, but unreliable and just caused more anxiety than not using them at all. Will not be purchasing again.

These are easy to use, but they are grossly overpriced for how many you get

Contacted Easy@Home customer service to confirm I'd done everything correctly & I had. They were also unhelpful and a little condescending in their replies. As someone with PCOS, I had high hopes of using these to confirm ovulation. I've been using Easy@Home LH strips to predict ovulation & wanted to add these to help confirm whether or not ovulation had occurred. Unfortunately, these tests did NOT line up with what my bloodwork indicated (or my BBT or period). These strips showed that I had ovulated, with a single solid control line and no 2nd line at all for several days in a row. Labwork that was done just 2 hours after one of my PdG urine tests showed that I had hardly no progesterone in my system (.4 ng/ml) - the labwork was done 7 dpo, for reference. My BBT also did not rise and my period came early. I had no indication of actually ovulating, but the PdG test strips still indicated that I did and customer service tried to tell me these strips are more accurate than getting bloodwork done to confirm ovulation. It would be nice if that were true, but seems like I just wasted some money on these. Hopefully this will keep someone else from doing the same!
