Looks great but YMMV
I really like the look of this sofa. It has a really nice velvet sheen and I'd say its actual color is very accurately represented in the product images as well as the pictures I provided. The overall build quality is pretty good and it feels sturdy. I like the way the split back folds down and the mechanism that latches into place to hold the back rest at pre-set angles works very well also.I have this in a guest room where it will primarily be used for sitting and watching TV. It's not super comfortable but it's fine. The seat and back are both firm but they do have some give. I generally prefer more of a firm feel rather than sinking into a giant marshmallow but I'm sure that some people will not love the comfort level of this futon. I haven’t opened it up to use as a bed but when laying on it in the couch configuration it is quite comfortable, substantially more so than when sitting. As for delivery and assembly I have no major complaints. The sofa arrived in a square box and all of the large velvet pieces were wrapped in black cloth bags which both protected it during shipping and provided a helpful aid when dragging it up the stairs. One corner of the shipping box was kind of shredded but there was zero damage whatsoever to the sofa or even the cloth packing cover for that matter.Assembly was fairly easy and consisted of less than 10 steps. The whole project took me about 2 hours total including the time to unbox it, drag it upstairs, and unwrap and account for all of the hardware. As for assembly time itself, it was probably a little more than an hour. My only minor complaint or thing to note is that a few of the nuts/bolts where the arms attach to the base are extremely hard to access with the provided wrench. I ended up using a ratchet with a 12 MM socket. I didn't try for very long to tighten the nuts with the provided wrench but my initial impression was that it was going to be extremely annoying and perhaps even impossible on a couple of them. So I'd say you'll probably want to have a ratchet and socket or a box wrench handy.Overall this was a good choice for a handsome, if not super comfortable, sofa at a reasonable price.

Very happy with the couch
I’m very satisfied with this couch. It is firm, but I like it and I find it very comfy. I just wrecked my knee so I’ve been spending a lot of time in it and it’s honestly as good as you can get considering price and fold out abilities. Looks fab as well

Exactly what I wanted
I live in a small NYC apartment and this was perfect. I was able to get this in and build by myself. Getting the arms on would definitely be easier with a buddy, but it is doable alone. I personally like the firmness of the couch. I suspect it will get softer over time. The velvet fabric is very durable and doesn’t seem like it will show wear and tear. I got the light green color, which isn’t at all like the photo. I researched this color before to know that it didn’t match before buying it. It’s more of pretty mint green with some blue undertones. If you’re like me and wondering if it’s more green or blue, it is definitely more green but still very pretty.

It’s classy and comfy. Worth your money.
They could have done better with some more of the memory foam but it’s still fine and firm just the way I like it

I hated it when I opened the box
I literally hated this couch when it came. Hahahaha. It’s actually really really big (6ft partner has room to space when laying down flat) and the grey color looks blue in the lighting of my place. Over time, with different throw pillows and switching out a rug from a different room, I've grown more fond of it... Definitely would need a pad for a guest, every seam is pretty bumpy. And the center of the couch is hard where the seam is. But it’s good for spooning, perfect for spooning when the back is in the reclined position. One other thing is that the back/arm rests seem a little low, so when I want to sit on it and read (I like to sit with my back against the arm rest) I have to stack pillows behind me to have a surface to rest on. I bought this couch to have a place for guests in a one bedroom, only to realize that my cats are loud and running around at night, so a guest wouldn’t be able to sleep here anyway. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t buy it. But I have it. So I’ll keep it. Pretty time intensive to put together and definitely takes two people. The fabric seemed horrible and ugly when I first got it (the icky cheap velvet of my nightmares) but I don’t notice anymore. One of my cats is a little cross eyed and don’t have good depth perception or jumping skills and loves to do zoomies all over this couch (digging his claws in all over because he misses and slides and overshoots) and the fabric doesn’t have a permanent/noticeable scratch on it yet. I’m glad it’s so durable. Overall, if you have quieter cats than mine, this couch would be a good option for having a guest (or two slimmer guests) in a one bedroom apartment, as long as you have a pad on it

Super soft and comfy to me.
The media could not be loaded. Don’t mind the mess everything is still being rearranged in the room. But the couch is beautiful the material is more of a crushed velvet so it’s very soft. As far as comfort depends on what you want to do w it. It can be a little hard probably for some people you definitely don’t sink into it when you sit or lay on it but it’s sturdy good material except for the zipper where The arms were enclosed broke so now my grand kitty has made a mockery of it, cute but obnoxious and now I’ll have to figure out how to keep it closed. The color I’m not sure of I honestly thought it would be more green and I feel like I got more of an aqua blue which is perfect because that’s the one that I wanted but it was like $200 more ... so I’m not sure if they sent the wrong color or the colors are not as they seem. I’ve only had it for a day, so far I am happy with my purchase I will update if anything changes.
