Timex Men's Metropolitan 40mm Watch

I can't understand how a DW costs a hundred and something and this is 38$.. This is an actual brand with actual history. The watch is great - great signed buckle, nice silent thin movement, quality strap, gorgeous dial! the only downside was a piece of uncut excess thread on the strap - which was biting against my skin. What I did is I took a nail clipper and cut it right off. Solved the problem perfectly. This is a fantastic watch.

Classy industrial look. I like it as it looks more unique than your typical minimalistic watch that's trendy these days. Can be dressed up or down, although in my opinion it leans more towards the dressy side.

Amazing watch, silent movement because doesn’t have a second hand big issue for me with Timex watches (Just barely noticeable close to ear the minute hand ticking) I am very annoyed by ticking noise, it doesn’t let me sleep and I have the habit of leaving on my nightstand after taking it off, I owned a Timex Weekender Oversized 40mm, the ticking noise was the only reason to sell it. After I sold the weekender I faced a wide variety of options for replace my “beater watch” or “daily watch” between Seiko SKN809 (too casual to use in the office or with a suit) Timex Waterbury, Weekender and Fairfield (All of them the Chrono version for the less ticking noise). But I love this watch since I saw it on real life, much better than the other ones. I bought it to abuse of it and easy to replace, but… I really like it and now I will take care of it.The watch band it’s genuine leather, but basic one, I strongly recommend to buy a really nice leather band or Nato strap to boost its appearance to the maximum, and look much more expensive than it is.

The watch arrived in a very damaged torn up box as shown in the picture. The watch was not functional at all. Will definitely be returning.

Gave this watch as a gift for my boyfriend, which I’ve already given him a watch as a gift last year, but he is a hard nut to crack as to what to get him. anyways, I opened up the box to take a look at the watch before I wrap it up, and I’m happy with how it looks! I bought it in black, and it has nice face, but no secondhand. I don’t think that’s a problem, since the other watch I gave him is pretty loud with the ticking, but do keep that in mind if you like the sound. The straps are nice, nothing too fancy but it will do for his taste. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the face doesn’t have a backlight, which is other watch does and told me that it comes in handy. Overall, it looks like the picture and I think it will do just fine for the price!

Pretty decent looking watch especially considering the price. Actually it looked a lot better than I was expecting for the cost, and the strap was surprisingly good too! I ordered what looks like a blue dial on my phone and computer screen but the one I received was more like a dark periwinkle color. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be that color or if it's just the typical product variation that I've seen on other Timex watches. I didn't mind the color as it made it unique looking but the dial looked much bigger than expected. Be aware that the dial is a lot bigger than on most 40mm watches since the bezel or rim is very thin, and there is no seconds hand. I ended up getting a Bering watch instead that I thought looked much better and only cost a couple of bucks more.

I got this watch because mostly because of its looks and price, and also because of the tag line from way back, “Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.” After an hour of wearing the watch, the time was off. I thought maybe I didn’t press the adjustment button back. Reset the time and it worked fine u til the following morning. Again, I reset the time and it worked great for the day. Took the watch off for the evening and again, I had to reset the time. Then, for about a week, it worked great. No problems. Again, suddenly with the watch on, it lost an hour. I tried to reset the time, but the adjuster fell out of the watch. While the watched worked, I really enjoyed it. Many complements. I called Amazon and used the chat function. I was really put off when the rep gave me the option of having Timex fix the watch, as opposed to either refunding my money or getting another watch. I let them know of my disappointment and was told that is their policy. However, ecause it was still within 30 days, I did have the other options. I opted for another watch. I just received the second one today. I really hope this one is a winner.

I bought this watch because it is simple and easy to read. It feels very nice on my wrist and looks more expensive than it is. Also, I liked the (up to ten year) battery life claim. After eight or nine years I probably would just buy another watch rather than replace the battery. UNFORTUNATELY for me, the watch stopped working after three months! I may go to five stars if Timex stands behind there watch, or drop it to one if they do not.

Es mi primera compra con este tipo de marca y puedo decir que es una excelente marca, el reloj es de buena calidad y funciona correctamente. Lo uso con mi vestimenta para el trabajo y definitivamente mi próxima compra será otro reloj Timex.

Si lo que buscas es un reloj de vestir al mejor precio posible y de la mejor calidad, el TIMEX metropolitan es tu opción. Un reloj bien logrado de perfil bajo ideal para usar con saco sin que llegue a ser estorboso, es discreto y logra algo que muy pocos relojes a este precio tienen ; Lograr cumplidos y parecer que es un reloj mucho más costoso de lo que es, sin ruidos debido a la ausencia de segundero, la correa se percibe de calidad, siendo estrictos me hubiera gustado que las manecillas fueran completamente de metal y no tuvieran luminosidad pues siento que eso no es algo que un reloj de vestir deba tener, pero es solo por encontrarle algo negativo... muy recomendado y muy satisfecho con la compra .

Es perfecto, no es grueso, tiene un espesor de menos de 1cm, se ajusta muy bien a la muñeca, lo cual lo hace cómodo de usar, el extensible es de piel y se ve de buena calidad, si les gusta en las fotos, en físico se ve mucho mejor. En general le digo que es un excelente reloj.

Reloj preciso y precioso. Súper ligero, el diseño de la esfera es impecable, muy limpio. Es casi un reloj formal sin embargo no deja de ser un buen reloj casual. Lo he usado con jeans y camiseta y luce bastante bien. También con traje y me encantó!La correa es de lo más suave y cómoda qué he sentido en mi muñeca.El único "pero" qué podría ponerle es que llegó en una caja muy sencilla... Pero el reloj es realmente bueno, bonito y a un precio muy accesible.

Es un reloj aunque ligeramente grande es completamente formal, es muy ligero y delgado, a la visita se ve bien pero muy discreto sin resaltar , de buenas a primeras se ve algo frágil pero no lo considero un reloj para trabajo pesado ni mucho menos. La caja es de latón y de acero únicamente la tapa como es normal en Timex, al ser formal y muy simple no tiene fecha, retroiluminacion ni tampoco el segundero, solo horas y minutos lo que hace ser muy elegante pero algo difícil de ajustar en hora perfectamente, sin embargo puedo decir que la precisión es increíble para este tipo de relojes, no he tenido que ajustarlo en más de tres meses y prácticamente lleva 1.3 segundos de adelanto, superior a otros relojes en ese aspecto. La correa es increíblemente suave y cómoda, al ser tan ligero el reloj es prácticamente inexistente. Lo único que no me acabo de encantar es que el precio debería ser solo un poco más barato para lo que ofrece este reloj.
