Good book!
This book is cute, and true to life. I did find it a bit sad, and that is the only reason for the 4 star rating. It is an excellent story, and the artwork is incredible! I do like the second Pingo book better, however, this is still a good book.

My kids love it!
My older kids were already huge Brandon Mull fans due to the Fablehaven series and The Candy Shop War, so when we saw this picture book we thought we'd give it a try. I've got to say that my kids love this book. My 3- and 5-year-olds love to have the book read to them and my older kids don't mind doing it. The pictures are fantastic--filled with subtle humor that even adults can enjoy--and the story is entertaining. I'd certainly recommend this book.

Still enjoyable over and over
This isn't one of those books that I want to glaze over while reading it for the millionth time. My daughter seems to like to read the same books over and over, and if they were all like this one, I wouldn't mind a bit. This is such a cute story.

Cute book
I took my kids to meet the author and have him sign some books. My 6 year old wanted this story and all of my kids and I enjoy it.

Pingo Bingo
I have enjoyed reading Brandon Mull's other books, the Candy Shop War and the Fablehaven series. I purchased this for my grandchildren, and they love it as much as I do the above mentioned novels. It has become one of their favorite bedtime stories.

Cute but not great.
This book was cute about an imaginary friend. It doesn't work well as a picture book, it would work well I think as a chapter book when Mull could expand the ideas. The pictures just don't carry it. Cute, but it feels empty...

Cute Story and Amazing Pictures
This is a cute story about imaginary friends and growing up. The illustrations in it are so good and make the story so much better.
