World Famous UVX 2 Waterproofing Protector for Canvas

Have purchased 4 or 5 cans of this fantastic canvas waterproof product. Have a 26 foot boat with a snap on canvas cover. Have tried 4 or more other boat canvas waterproof product with no good results. Purchased some from boat stores and hardware stores - no matter all sucked. All other products did not repel water very well and never lasted more than a few weeks at best. Boat still had water in the interior hull flooring. But when I tried UVX2 - that all changed. It sealed completely - repelled water as it should and has lasted all season repelling water. No rain water in the boat flooring interior. PERFECT - will purchase this product only for all my canvas sealing needs in the future. One suggestion - product directions states to paint product on with a brush - do not apply in this manner. Tried - did not work well - went on thick - made black canvas have white colored surface streaks, made canvas hard, saw brush strokes, and did not repel as well. Get a good general spray bottle - Home Depot or other - not the cheap $3.00 type - good one - about $5.00 or more each. This is critical - you need good spray pump - good misting and this higher priced type unit will not clog up. Then spray on in consistent side to side strokes - about 6 inches away from canvas on a calm day. Perfect results - no color change - and great water repel. Good Luck. Phil

Really fast shipping, came a week earlier than the set delivery date. Unfortunately it rained a lot, so I've been unable apply it to my tent. I was finally able to apply it yesterday, and wow the results are amazing! The water just beads off! This is a must buy!

Bought 5 cans of this stuff to waterproof the awnings on my 40' motorhome. The awnings had started to allow rain water to pass right through them. I waited for the perfect weather and applied per mfg. instructions. Left them open 2 dry completely. 2 days later it rained all day and the awnings leaked worse than ever! This stuff is essentially worthless. Save your money.
