Hello, thank you for the interest in G8600 Led grow light, the G series grow light has 5-Year warranty, and the buyer had this go out after 6 months, we have fixed the problem for him and the light works no problem. He has not updated the review yet. Please do not worry.

Q: Does it have sunrise/sunset if hooked to a controller??

Short answer, Yes. Ac infinity 69 pro that I use (have 2 G's & 1SE ) all 1000's will control sunrise/ sunset, MAKE sure to set dimmer to correct % for grow stage on light.
