So guys, I am using it on a M4 - M5 fasteners, where the goopy consistency covers the tiny threads too heavily. I wanted to wipe off excess although it sets almost immediately resulting in stringy mess, (although it does the job) do you have to cool the bolt or the VC3 liquid for best results? I have red thread locker, I think by loc tite. How does Vibratite red compare? Same chemistry different name?

how long does the opened container last before it dries out??

I apply on 5/8 bolt only on the threads where the nut goes, I wipe off excess. Takes 2 fairly big wrenches to assemble, am I putting too much?
