Olaplex Nº.10 Bond Shaper™ Curl Defining Gel: Detangles, smooths, conditions, and hydrates curls

This curl gel is thinner than a typical gel and doesn't leave a crunchy cast unless you put a lot on. It makes for a softer curl. I've tried about a dozen different curl creams, gels and sprays, Including Wow (which I love) and Curlsmith (which I don't), and this is by far my favorite. I have medium fine, wavy to curly hair and this gives me chunkier curls that last.If you like the strong hold of gels, this probably isn't for you. If you want decent hold without the crunch, it's worth the splurge.

It's an excellent product. Gel? Maybe not, but curl primer/leave-in/cream A+++. It leaves my hair soft and moisturized for longer than traditional curly creams. Like a curl cream, it provides hold immediately after styling and needs a stronger product to keep that hold overnight. For reference, my hair is 2c/3a and fine.

Really loving this curl gel! I have switched from products like Shea Moisture, Kinky Kurly, As I Am, Ouidad, etc to Olaplex and I have no plans to go back. I still use a few non Olaplex brands mostly for mousse/ foam & curl cream but everything else Olaplex and I could not be happier. My hair is absolutely amazing. It’s only been a few weeks & I already notice such a difference. Been experimenting and perfecting my curly girl routine for so long and I finally feel like my curls are thrivinggggg.Really loving this curl gel! Great product

I'm ordinarily a "diffuse and go" type of gal, really only drying the top of my head with a round brush and letting the bottom go totally curly. I could not get this to work with this product - maybe I didn't use enough, but more about that later - and was initially disappointed. I wound up spending more time styling than I usually do, because I had to use the round brush on the bottom, too. The result was nice waves, and I'll admit that, even though I was not pleased with the additional time spent styling, the outcome was good.Three days later, though, I was very pleased. When this says 72 hours no frizz, it's telling the truth, and that's hard to do with my naturally curly, very porous, color-treated hair. Ordinarily by Day Three I'd be in a ponytail or clip, but this product has staying power. Also, my hair stayed soft from the start - none of the stickiness or crunch that I often have with styling products.I do wish, though, that I knew how much to use. The tube says "small amount," and that's sure open to interpretation. I know it's hard to come up with a comparison that will be universally understood when you're dealing with an international market, but, for a point of reference, I used about an American nickel's worth of product. I'm going to try a quarter the next time and see if I'm able to get the loose curls I prefer.

Love this curling gel. The best brand I've tried yet! It is not sticky and it has a light scent. It lasts a few hours without getting frizzy. Then it needs a touch up. Leaves hair texture feeling lovely. Not crunchy just perfect!

Best hair gel ever for my fine curly hair! This bonding gel makes my curls soft, healthy and natural looking. Nice fragrance is mild and not overwhelming.

Works ok, but not much better than cheaper options. Doesn’t do much for my frizz; I haven’t found anything that works other than using way too much cheap gel and cracking the shell after. One bonus is that I don’t need to use as much but the cost more than makes up for it.
