Its ORANGE !!!
Ordered the Cedar Naturaltone color for a large fence project. The color is very very orange. Tried it on a small area of the fence. I anticipated the orange may lighten when it dried. I was wrong! This is not what should be applied to a cedar fence or anything else. Terrible color.

not as pictured, description accurate
The description says this product is a stain and sealant which is what I wanted. However, the pic they have up is for just stain. I took a chance that the description was correct which it was so the product pic needs to be changed. I tried to order this through Home Depot and it says it was not available to order on-line. When I ordered through amazon I believe the vender was ShooBop. But my order ended up coming directly from Home Depot. I got the order in 2 days and it was supposed to be about a week. I did my deck and porches with this 3 years ago and it it is in good shape in most spots. I do have patches that have peeled already, but with frequent snow shoveling in the winter I don't think many products would actually hold up for 6 years.

Not worth using.
I had a new wood deck installed, about 1000 square feet. I waited to let it weather per the recommendations of the decking manufacturer. I sanded by hand, I used the Behr deck cleaner as directed, rinsed it and let it dry. I stained the deck (2 thin coats as recommended), and got on my hands and knees to stain between the deck boards. It was beautiful. That was two years ago. The stain and the wood beneath is mildewed and has flaked away in numerous areas. The 6-year warranty is a joke. If you are considering this product, don't buy it unless you can get a written guarantee of performance: the 6-year warranty claimed on the can is a really bad joke. While staining the deck, I stained several pieces trimmed from the deck boards during installation. Same wood, same preparation, same stain. After it dried for 3 or 4 days, I used my table saw to section the scrap boards. I could not see ANY indication that the stain had penetrated the wood. I used a magnifying glass to examine (5x). No penetration.Unless I replace the wood decking with a synthetic, I am now faced with repeating the entire process, probably with stripping as an additional step. I will NOT be using a Behr product.

I like the color of this weather proofing paint
I like the color of this weather proofing paint. I will have to wait at least a year to see how it holds up. So far the water is not penetrating the deck. I have to use a broom to sweep the water off.

Behr provided replacement but it didn't last 6 months
Our stain from Behr peeled within a year. Behr has a guarantee. We sanded the areas, cleaned, used the wash and new stain Behr provided. It was peeling again by spring. I see no benefit when you have to put in all of the labor and not have a successful product even with a guarantee. We've never had this issue with semi-transparent stain. The home is 44 years old.

Easy to use!
This came quickly and in good packaging. This is a very good stain/sealer. Easy to apply, dried quickly. Looks great!

This is the worst and most expensive deck stain
Behr is by far the worst deck stain and most expensive I've ever used. The deck boards started failing in places even where no activity happened after the 2nd year. I followed all the recommended prep work to the T. Not our first rodeo with staining the deck. Rails started peeling off 3 years later even though the product has a 10 year supposed warranty. I will never buy this again. So disappointed. Wish I could give it the zero rating it deserves.
