Great product
Although these grits aren’t marked as instant, they do cook up very fast. They’re really delicious and excellent quality. Well worth the money. Bob’s always has a good product.

Works for fire ants
I did some research on how to get rid of fire ants and some suggested grits, corn grits specifically. Apparently they screw up the stomach bacterial flora of the ants and they starve to death after eating them. I didn’t want to use pesticides because I have lots of nice bees and butterflies around I sprinkled them outside to 3 days and the fire ants totally died. they are delicious as well, but I’m keeping some extra for next year if the ants try to build a nest.

What's not to like?
If you love white grits like I do, you'll love these as long as you're willing to take the time to cook them. I promise you they are worth it, nice rich maize like flavor. Add some butter and sea salt.....ohhhhh my.
