Combiva II for Cats Over 9 lbs, by Combiva

I've been using this on my cats for over a year in a very flea-prone area. I also have a dog on which I use the canine analog. This is not a panacea for neglect or some magic spell to save you the time and labor required to manage fleas. Treat all your pets monthly as directed (like genuinely read and follow all directions faithfully regarding application) and treat your home if you have a problem. The cats are indoors but the dog goes in and out all day, but in the height of summer, we are flea free. This works best after applying regularly, month after month. This product is clearly not indicated for ticks, though I see reviews where people moan about finding ticks on their pets. If you live in a place where ticks are a problem, don't buy this and expect results.

Works just as well as the pricier Advantage II. I agree with other reviewers that the applicator is not as easy but I can live with it for the money savings.
