GigaTent Cooper Boy Scouts Camping Tent

I am exactly the wrong person to have reading dimensions and deciding whether or not something is suitable. This tent taught me that. I read the reviews and thought it would be fine. It was decidedly NOT fine and my daughter ended up sleeping in the car during our 4 day camping trip. Lucky her, it rained every night :) That said, the tent gets a five star rating because we were beach camping, with three tents, when summer storms hit. This tent is the only one that came through without broken poles or damages (we left it set up and used it to store all of our gear). Maybe it survived because it is SO INCREDIBLY SMALL but the fact is, it survived where the others did not.Related- it is exactly the right size for a 75 pound dog to use when a child randomly decides to "camp" in the living room.

Just the right size for 124 pound dog (Jake) and his 4' round bed. He likes it!

We bought this for our grandsons to use primarily inside our house. They were forever using our sheets to make tents and hang out. After one of the sheets got ripped during some aggressive playing we decided we needed a different route. The tent works perfect! Sets up in less than a minute and tears down the equally as fast! Good quality and great price! May have to buy another for outside!

This is a small tent, but that's exactly what I was hoping for. The kids (ages 6 & 7) have been in the mood for backyard camping a lot lately. We joke that our family tent is a "camping mansion" because it's so large. It just got too cumbersome to put up and take down that tent constantly, so I was looking for something kid size that was a step up from being a "toy" tent. This is exactly that. It's durable enough that I'd take this on a family trip to store the gear/food and sleep in the mansion. Or if you do want to sleep in it, it's the perfect size for 2 kids and a dog. I don't know that I'd trust it in any sort of rain though...I've attached a photo to show just how small of a footprint this tent has. That's a child size character sleeping bag for reference. Once the poles are in, you get a smidge more space around the edges, but not much. Still, we could fit 2 of those side-by-side, all the necessary pillows and stuffed animals needed for sleeping, and a miniture dachshund snuggled in the middle of it all. Good buy for the price.

Just purchased for my son to use at a campout. Tent is great except for 1 MAJOR drawback: every time we touch the poles we get little shards of fiberglass coming off of them! I am not sure if its the way the poles are made or if I have a defective set but after trying to set up once, I have given up. Not worth picking fiberglass out of my fingers or my child's while they cry for over an hour!!! I would consider this a pretty dangerous concern and will not be buying this product again. :(

You purchased this item on January 27, 2016.I love this Tent. I have 5 grandsons and 4 of them are between 3-6 yrs old. All of them can lay out in this tent and they LOVE IT. Its now where they each/all sleep when they have sleepovers at grandma's.I highly recommend this item!

The tent itself appears sturdy and has a tarp thick bottom, unfortunately the same cannot be said for the fiberglass poles. One snapped broken during first time setup by two experienced adults. We camp a lot and never had it happen with any other tents we own. Look for one with aluminum poles.

I was super excited and happy for my little boy to get this tent since his name is also on the front, Cooper. We set up the tent for his bday and that evening one of the tabs where the tent poles sticks in broke off and shot off somewhere. He had not even gotten a chance to play with the tent. Pretty disappointed. Ill definitely be returning this tent.

This tent is Ok. I bought one for my nephew to play in, and one of the poles broke within a week or two. I didn't expect high end quality for this price point, but I was unable to get a response from the company at all when I inquired about replacement poles which was disappointing.

Este producto me gusto por que es muy practica, no pesa lamentablemente creo que no es muy resistente pero por el precio esta muy bien.

Fue un regalo para mis sobrinos de 2 y 4 años y les encantó. Fácil de armar, amplia... Caben dos adultos acostados. Uno de los niños cabe de pie !
