47 is back in business !!!
This game pretty much picks up where the earlier one left off . But that is jsut where all the similarity ends. The graphics , gameplay , sound and the overall look and feel of the game has improved.Trigger happy gamers be warned this gmae is not for you. Although you can go gung ho though all the levels , the ultimate goal of the game is to achieve the silent assassin rating !! And this adds to the games replay value . The best feture of this game is that there are many ways of completing every mission. And the levels are completely different .Detaling in the game is beautiful and scenic locations and locles are beautifully created. The sound in the game is atmospheric and adds to the entire 'hitman' feel ! With music rising when ur in tricky situations to heavy thumping in the heat of action , it captures it all !Some may find the game annoying at first , due to failure to complete missions . My suggestion is that complete the game once however you want to complete it and then try for a silent assassin !For anyone who want to buy this - this ones a collectors' game !

Underrated, almost unknown...
I happened to buy Splinter Cell and Hitman 2 at the same time. Splinter Cell because it's, well, the stealth game that was most popular at that time. I had not played any of the hitman games and knew little about it. But anyway one of my friends convinced me to buy that one too. And what a game! The levels on Splinter Cell all looks the same and you go bored after a few hours, but with Hitman the same level can be completed in many different ways. As an example the first mission can be completed in at least four completely different ways, meaning you will go through different areas of the level.By all means Splinter Cell is quite good. But Hitman 2 was much more my kind of game. You take control of an retired hitman which is forced back in business by some old enemies. Many missions can be done the traditional way with a sniper rifle, but sometimes the target is inside a building. You need to go in there and take care of business close up, maybe with a fiber wire, or with poison, or a scalpell, or a fire axe.... You can disguise yourself as almost any one you kill, but to get the silent assassin rating on the level you must complete the mission without harming anyone else than the target!I dont think I have been impressed so much by a game I knew so little about since the first time I played Doom.(Yes, I didn't know anything about Doom before I played it, and this was in 1994!)Main point: I have completed Hitman 2 several times, but I have barely completed Splinter Cell. And Splinter Cell is quite a game according to everyone!

Hitman 2: Codename 47
Are you board of working legally on a team (Gaming wise) and want to brakeaway from it? Well Hitman 2:Codename 47 is well worth taking a look at.You play the character of a legendry Hitman. You'll endure a series ofmissions ranging from eliminating a mafia bose in Sicily, to the blizzardmountains of the Hymillayas (Excuse my spelling)and even the blisteringhot desert. The game has a tension filled plot and many missions whichwill have you on the edge of your seat time and time again. There is amassive amount of weapons to chose from. You can take weapons from youenemies, things like shotguns, MP5's, snipers and axes and you can evenuse anaesthetic on your victim rather than killing them. One of thebrilliant features of this game is the stunning effects and intelligenceof the computer guards and targets. When you have killed a victim, or putthem to sleep then it's actually possible to take the clothes which isgreat for walking past guards with. Theres more than just one way ofentry, most of the levels will have at least 2 or more. Theres the stealthapproach, and the dynamic approach, it's your choice. I have had the gamenow for about two to three years and unlike most games, the gameplay andlevels are so good, i can't stop playing it and it never seems boring, soif you've got a couple of spare quid lying around, then it'll be wellworth buying it and checking it out for yourself.

HITMAN 2 IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES ON PS2
TYPE STAELTH/ACTION 3RDPERSON/ FIRSTPERSON VIEWThis game has mostly anything you can ask for. Guns, stealth, action, style and car bombing(on one leval), its all hear. If your looking for originality in an action title, this is it. So don't bother with games like Men in Black 2, where you just shoot things. This game can be hard to get used to for the first 2 hours with the controls. The controls are very good when your comfortable with the game. The game starts of with you being with your priest(mentor) at a church. No baddies here to kill, you're there to change your lifestyle and to not make mistakes from the past(He used to kill for money). He is meant to be hidden so anyone like the Italian Mafia wern't ment to no where he's hidden, kind of like the begining of cammando. All's going well for Codeman 47, he confeses his sins in a cue whilst talking to his mentor. The mentor has forgivin him because 47 has helped with the garden and has been genourouse. Now the Italian Mob then kidnaps the priest and this make 47 go back to his old ways, killing + revenge. Most levels consists of multiple ways to complete each leval, so this means replay value. You can use stealth but it's rock hard compared to going in guns blazing . If you own the mancion leval on a demo, trust me, the final product of the game is fairer and easier than the demo. You are a equiped with a fibre wire, which is like a sharp cheese wire. You creep up to your enemy and choke them to death than drag them into a dark area into some shadows so no one can know theres an infaultrater. You can also shoot lights out so you can wait for an enemy to fall straight into your trap by you ducking behind a sofa before hand and you pump them fall of lead with your sawn off(shotgun)and watch their body slam rite into the wall which leaves blood stains which is like an auwsome cop film.On the first propper leval theres a great way to use stealth to enter the manchion by acting like a civilian. There's a post man and as he's walking past, you pop a bullet in his head with a 9mm(silenced pistal) and you drag the coarpse behind a wall where no patrolling enemies can find the dead body. You change into his clothes and you pick up the flowers that were sent to maid or to the Don(head guy of Italian Mob). As you run up whilst disguised you see these 2 guards guarding a gate. They're going to check for weapons, so what do you do?, you drop your weapons close to a bush, walk up to enemies so they can frisk you and you run back and get your weapons then go through the gate. As you get through the door of the manchion, a maid takes the flowers of you and it gets tricky here so you use full agression by fibre wirering a guard then use his Barreta against every one else(which is very cool). You can go in as a grocery man and you can stash your weapons in a tray that you carry. The best pistals is 47's own Ballers and they're the very stylish silver ones with powerful bullets that can bounce of a wall, it's so good, it runs out quick but you can use cheats to have more fun(infinity ammo). You get Sniper Rifles so you have to steady your aim by crouching down then shoot them in the head.Crossbows are useless to me cause they take 3 shots when 4 metres away. Youre gona get spotted by the enemy if your a metre away and it takes a while to steady your aim. When dragging coarpses they flop about so they have joints like real, and you can get them into awful possitions whilst dragging them, it looks painful such as twisting there back & legs.A thing which is important is that you can use the sewers in a few lvals and this helps for the stealthier aproach as you can miss some guards. As going up through a man hole, you have to watch that no one spots you. This is great value, with orriginality, style and action. Shooting has never been so fun.
