I don't know yet whether or how well this works. I assume it will be ok, desiccant is pretty standard stuff. However, be careful. On the individual pack of desiccant is printed "Contents 4 units", which implies there are 4 packs inside. There are not. The inside is loose material, so DON'T cut it open. So I guess a "Unit" is a quantity of material, not a pack.

After two years, my filaments became brittle. When they go through the heater and extruder, I heard a crackling sound from the moisture in the filament. My wife explained the horrible things that would happen to me if I used her oven to dry my spools of filament. I bought vacuum bags and these dessicant dryers. All of my filaments (14 spools) perform perfectly once again.
