Hydrea Long-Handled Professional Body Brush (Firm/Extra Firm Bristles)

I love this product so much, I use it before body wash and my body feels so smooth

I like this product because it’s well done. And it is also good because it helps blood circulation and helps get rid of cellulite.

This review is based on examining product after receiving it but prior to actually using it. What I wanted was a coarse bristle for use in the shower, preferably with attached brush head. Using those search terms this item was included in search results. The head is detachable which is okay because I can do a mod with hardware so it doesn’t chronically fall off like past similar items. The bristles are most definite coarse enough although everything I’ve read about cactus bristles suggests they are not for wet use. My workaround for that is going to be shaking out water after use and drying off with a towel and not leaving it in the shower where it would be exposed to more water than necessary. I’ll just hang it on my towel rack. I think these measures will prevent rapid molding.3/14/20 update: Plan is working fine. Have had brush over six months, use in every other day, rinse soap completely out, shake out excess water and air dry on towel rack. Bristles are stiff as the day it arrived and not a speck of mold. Very happy with it.

I have just started doing dry brushing and I wanted to make sure to get a high quality brush with the right amount of firmness. I spent a LONG time looking through brushes online. I almost went with a $40 brush from AUS until I found this brush here! The bristles have great firmness for dry brushing and is not irritating to the skin. Love that it has a detachable handle too. This brush is excellent quality and is just what I was looking for!I don't recommend this for use in the shower as the wooden handle has no varnish on it to make it waterproof and it will eventually crack if exposed to water. I believe it's only meant for dry brush use.Completely worth getting for any dry brushers!

Dry brushing can become addicting, LOL. Love this brush use it once a day...everyday. The handle has been sturdy enough for me but I can see where it might be a problem since the handle just slides into the brush with out anything locking it in place. I use a natural sea sponge for delicate areas like neck and decolletage not this brush. The bristles are still firm after a month of use and looking good. From my limited knowledge and minimal experience Dry brushing takes some getting used to, finding the technique that works for you ,for your skin, lymph system etc. I can also tell a difference if I don't use it. It might just be a mental thing, but I feel better after i use it and that's enough basis for me to keep using it.

In two months of daily, vigorous dry brushing, only two bristles have detached. I bought it with the long handle to reach the middle of my back, but it is too much work for me to jam the removable wooden handle into the slot and then wrench it free every day--but also too awkward for me to use it with the handle permanently in place. I, personally, would not recommend bothering with the removable handle (and just getting the brush with no handle), but others may do better. I recommend it based on its durability so far. I have not tried other body brushes but have tried other methods of exfoliating (loofah, salts, sugar, etc) and dry brushing has been my most effective.

The 3rd brush like this that I’ve bought, and it is terrible, unlike the previous versions I purchased. The bristles are not as stiff as before, but the thing that makes it unusable is the fact that the shape of the stick does not fit into slot on the brush head correctly. It is shaped differently which means the head just falls off the stick. When it’s wet, you can jam it on and get it to stick for a minute, so to do your back, you have to re-jam it on like 3-4 times. Too bad it’s changed, I’ll never buy another one.

I've been looking forever for a firm bristle dry bush. I've finally found one. Yay!! Last one I bought had way too soft bristles. The tampico bristles are just the right firmness. Love love love this brush. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.

Excellent product, very good quality. I bought the product to reach places on my back that a regular brush couldn't. Coarse good quality bristles. A very fast delivery even though the product was shipped from England arrived weeks ahead of schedule. I looking to buy from this vendor in the future.

according to my ex husband this brush is pretty old with the long handle and he is asking me to order another one.

As always, I have to screw a little screw through the holding stick through the brush to prevent the brush to fall out but all the brush I bought did the same time. However this brush is phenomenal
