This is one of my favorite jams/fruit spreads.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Lingonberries are right up at the top of my favorite berries and jams, with a flavor similar to cranberries, although less tart. I pick this item out when I want to indulge, with my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, with an extra-tasty jam.Value for money:Lingonberry jam is a bit costly, so I can’t have it all the time, but when I do get it, it’s pretty special, for me. Fruit content:There’s bits and pieces of whole fruits in this fruit spread. Texture:The texture is sweet and slightly tart.Taste:The taste is similar to cranberry sauce, but sweeter, more mild, and less tart than cranberry sauce.

Delicious lingonberries!
So good! I love cranberries and make a great cranberry sauce but can’t always buy them. Canned cranberry sauce doesn’t satisfy. But lingonberry preserves are delicious. I use them like preserves on toast or as a side dish like cranberry sauce or in recipes. These berries are at the top for their nutritional value too - up there with blueberries.

Best Lingonberry jam available
I have tried other brands of Lingonberry jam, but Felix is the best in my opinion, comparable to the brand that I used to buy at IKEA. It is sweet-tart and perfect for when I make Danish Aebelskiver pancake balls. Good on waffles as well. This was an especially good price for such a large jar, so I bought two. Hope Amazon keeps this brand available otherwise I will have to get the small size jar at Sprouts !

Very good! I buy this every year for the holidays
Super yummy. The texture is very nice and is excellent on pork turkey or a nice big slice of bread.

Any Swede or Swede wannabe Will Love This Jam
Excellent jam, well packed shipping method and no leaks whatsoever. My wife is Swedish and she loves lingonberry jam as do our two children. So do I. Lingonberry goes fantastically with poached/fried/baked salmon, and sonofagun, it also makes fantastic peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

BE AWARE! PACKAGING MAY BE INSUFFICIENT!
I purchased these Lingonberries to serve with Swedish Meatballs, as this is the traditional way to serve Swedish meatballs, and I wanted to try them the traditional way. I have only ever had Lingonberry "jam" (by U.S. definitions this would qualify more as a "preserve," as it includes the whole berries) at IHOP on their Swedish crepes, which used to be part of their International Pancakes menu (I *MISS* those crepes!), so am probably not a great judge, but these were as expected - a bit tart, a bit sweet, and lovely berries in the mix. So I'm quite happy with the jam.I would just caution buyers, and appeal to the seller - these came wrapped (tightly, admittedly) in nothing but a single USPS priority mail bubble envelope. Since I purchased another item with this one, Amazon did actually put that bubble wrapped envelope inside a box with the other item, which was likely why I was so lucky, but I'm not sure that the results would have been good had the package come only in the USPS bubble envelope.Given the number of reviews I've seen showing broken jars and the way this was packaged, I feel lucky that mine arrived with no damage. This is a very dangerous way to ship a product in a glass jar. I would recommend to the seller that they consider either wrapping it in a second layer of bubble wrap, or even better, wrap it in bubble wrap and then put it into a box with some type of filling. Yes, I know this is a bit more wasteful (if the buyer doesn't reuse, repurpose or recycle the packaging) but it's JAM in a GLASS JAR. No wonder so many folks are reporting broken glass and unusable products. :({ETC: product did come packed in a box with another purchase.}

Yum!
This could be the best lingonberry sauce I have ever had but wow, it's expensive. Is it worth the price? It's very good but I'm not sure about that question. Every so often, I guess it's worth the price but not daily.
