DC Direct Blackest Night: Blue Lantern 1:4 Scale Power Battery and Ring Prop Replica Set

Great display piece

I don't own this, however i've seen them in person. They are cheaper plastic and basically the same thing over over and over again except in different colors.I would have gotten them had they not been the same thing over and over again. Clearly whoever makes these put not effort in comic book accuracy because the Blue Lantern in DC comics is differently shape. Its longer and thinner. I wanted to find a picture on Google, but, ofcourse, when i need Google to find me something, it doesn't. So that's my main reason why this is a fail.If you like the blue lantern core, and just want a generic blue lantern, go head. For me, its just a different color green lantern, not a real fan-boy lantern.As for the ring... its alright. Small for my fat/normal man fingers. It doesn't cut off circulation, its just not comfortable. Its good enough to show off to your other DC comic dork friends, and to the judgemental eyes of your girlfriend. So it serves its purpose. Because, I mean how many times are you going to run around your place with the ring and come back to the lantern to re-charge....

Okay, so where to start, ring is a good size for my hand and the lantern is of course plastic, love the see through-ish base,and while this may not be the like the lantern the hope bearers carry around (their's is more elongated) it does make a good BLACKEST NIGHT replica, not as the one carried but as the one shown with all others in BLACKEST NIGHT ISSUE 1
