Great sign. The only issue that I found, is that there is only one bolt provided to fasten the sign to the post. It would be ideal to have an additional bolt on the bottom of the sign. I drilled a hole and added the additional bolt myself.

This sign is just what I wanted.... small yet makes a statement for all the dog walkers in the neighborhood who think my mailbox and the beautiful flowers I plant around the base is a "pee and poop post" for their dogs. Incredible that people don't realize that this behavior kills flowers as it also kills lawns! And when just ONE DOG does it, it invites all the other dogs in the neighborhood to do the exact same thing! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the post is way too short. It is correct as stated in the description as one foot long but the actual picture of the sign shown is very misleading as the stake looks much longer. So I have to attach another piece to the stake to make it a little longer so people can actually read it as the flowers grow. They should make it at least 18 inches long instead of just 12 inches. Because the sign takes up 6 inches of the post and only 6 inches is left for putting it into the ground. So be aware of this when ordering. But the quality is superb!!

I mounted the sign directly to the mailbox post to make it difficult to move. I didn't use the post that came with the sign. Our need for the sign was the heavy dog traffic by our home. Many dogs with their owners made a habit of stopping at our mailbox post where the dogs were allowed to do their business. The message has definitely been received since most no longer allow their dogs to pee on the post. That being said, there are owners who feel it's ok for their dogs to pee on the post. Those ignore the sign and allow their dogs to do their business anyway. There are a few owners who no longer walk their dogs on our side of the street. The sign is doing what I expected.I think the sign should be available with or without the post to reduce the price. If the no post option was available, it would likely make the sign less expensive.As far as durability, I haven't had the sign in place long enough to make that determination but the material is aluminum and appears to be quite durable.

I wanted something small but effective to deter rude people from allowing their dogs to use my front lawn strip as a latrine, which had become a near-daily occurrence; and, a message that would gently shame people rather than just making them angry and just as likely to ignore it. This little sign has been incredibly effective. Since I installed it months ago, I have only had to clean up a couple of messes. (Which I first sprinkled with cayenne pepper, and let sit for a couple of days, to discourage repeat offending.) The only caveat I have is that the wind allows the screw to work itself out, but I just superglued it in the back. Highly recommend!

This sign is very small. Just be aware in case you are looking for something larger. This size was perfect for what we need. We live in a close neighborhood where people like to walk their dogs every evening, and some mornings. We live in the corner lot. We have road on the side and front of our yard. We were having issues with people letting their dogs use our yard as a toilet and not clean it up. We also have dogs but they are in a fenced backyard. When other dogs were using our yard it was at the corner where our fence is near the road. I was very concerned about it upsetting our dogs due to the odor.We have got some looks but no comments about the sign. Its keeping the owners of their pets from letting them use our yard as a bathroom.Its a good way to get the message across without having to confront people. I love it.

So instead of physically confronting every disrespectful slob that lets their animal relieve themselves on my pricey landscaping, I decided I'm gonna go out and buy some snide sign to make my point. Then I found this one and I thought, kill them with kindness. I will say that as others have said ad nauseum it is a very small sign, with a very small post so it won;t lodge itself very deep into your lawn/mulch, etc. But it is sturdy and seems to be well made out of good quality metal and the small size is actually a benefit because it is clearly visible to these dopes once they are next to your landscaping, unless they are checking their handheld devices acting like they don;t see it, in which case they are bigger tools than I ever thought. All in, this sign won;t detract from your landscaping and gets the message across which is actually sad that you even have to buy a sign to get across but some people are inconsiderate losers. c'est la vie.

Good size. Not too obnoxious, but gets the point across. Would be better if the bottom of the stake was pointed to ease putting it in the ground. It's flat so it takes some effort, but a rubber mallet helped. Ours have stood up to three seasons being out all year round. Recommend.
