Only mix as much as you think you will need because it will turn rock hard in hours,
I used it for painting, my fiberglass swimming pool stairs before the new liner was installed and it worked great

Worked Well Over Tile
Very pleased, used it to paint over old tile. Holding up very well!

Bad packaging
I received my package and the paint lid was dented with some paint out. Should’ve packaged it better so hoping it will be okay. Very messy!

Better than most.
Did two coats. Good coverage. Does not get hot like industrial grade epoxy, so I'm a little worried about the chemical bond and curing time. I've used epoxy in two pools. Both times it was the industrial grade stuff (twice the price an half the coverage). Then I used a Sherwin Williams pool epoxy. They don't make it anymore for a reason. It didn't bong and blistered badly. In fact, pressure washing removed nearly all the Sherwin Williams epoxy but the original cost persisted. And yes, I sanded and etched the epoxy before applying new. Hoping this in the swim brand holds up. The shell seems hard. Forget about getting it off your clothes, shoes, etc. I don't recommend blue because epoxy yellows in the sun over time and you'll have more of an aquamarine green in 4 years. But a week's worth or prep and $1000 in material is more affordable than 20k for new plaster. Pot life is easily 2 hours. Plenty of time for one person to apply. Make sure you use enough non-slip additive for the steps and any slopes because it will be slippery! Make sure you use primer if it's your first coat. That really soaks into the plaster and helps lock everything in. Shipping is questionable. Boxes are marked which way is up but none of them were delivered as such. All cans were well dented. One leaked. And my primer never arrived. Twice. FedEx still has it marked as out for deliver. Results may vary but I suspect shipping chemicals is hit or miss.
