Fun kit to assemble, the transmission was extremely difficult to assemble with just pictures for assembie instruction, but overall was a positive experience and a really nice functional finished. Model.

This is a very cool build. Kind of teaches about the parts of an engine and how it works. These are standard size pieces and there are A LOT of them. The instructions seemed to be easy at first but then I realized that there were a few bags of pieces that didn't have a number on them to determine when to use them. Until I got to a point where I thought I was missing parts and realized the pieces must be in those bags that have no number on them. Yep sure enough. Would have been nice to know that. So the instructions are lacking. Nowhere does it say to look in those bags for pieces needed. The instructions and/or labeling needs improvement.Once you get the hang of that, then it goes a little more smooth, but is still a pain to try and figure out when you need those pieces and which bag to pull them from.But the build itself and the finished product is incredibly neat. A working engine! And this set is just expensive as the brand name so no bargains there. Is it worth it? Probably. I still recommend it regardless of the instruction issue. It's very unique but challenging. But I wouldn't suggest it for anyone younger than a teen.

Awful box. Unless you’re about to spend 3 weeks making it, don’t buy it. Don’t buy it if you’re under 18 too. If you’re under 18 you’ll probably get really frustrated with it. It’s not easy to assemble and more annoying that fun. Not worth the buy. Ridiculous

The media could not be loaded. This set was extremely fun to build! The instructions were very clear, and I appreciated that it came with extra pieces just in case. It’s a very technical build, so I wouldn’t recommend it for young kids—but for older teens or adults who enjoy a challenge, it’s perfect.The quality is excellent—honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference between this and a LEGO set. One of the coolest parts was being able to see how the engine works once it was assembled. I’m definitely planning to try more sets from this company!

This was cool and hit a spot for me - when I really started getting into cars was around 2001 when the Bugatti Veyron was being developed with this engine was what was pushing it to breakneck speeds. Its pretty big and sits next to my brick built Bugatti. The finish on the metal pieces is great looking. The tolerances are LOW though for most pieces, so assembling can be a huge pain - make SURE all of your black and blue peg pieces are going the same direction - I spent like 15 minutes on one step because I had 4 pegs (on each side of the base) that just didn't want to0 listen, and my set didn't come with the tool piece to help with things like this.Despite the difficulty, I enjoyed myself overall, and the finish product just kind of touches my nostalgic bone.
