Gonioa 3/4 inch Rubber Walking Cane Tip Self Standing Cane Tip, Black

I have a gravel driveway; which can be quite tricky to walk on when using a cane. With a traditional can tip, I've had occasions when the tip landed on a rock and then shifted a bit. This tip has a larger surface area on which to land; so I don't anticipate it will shift. On the other hand, the rubber is a bit too flexible; and that detracts from a feeling of firm stability. If the rubber was a bit more rigid, this tip would be perfect. At a size of roughly 4.5" wide; this tip is small enough that it doesn't get in the way (i.e. like what happens with a 4-footed cane); but it is large enough to allow the cane to stand up on its own.---Update: After using this cane tip for about 2 months, the rubber became entirely too flexible in the area where it connects to the pole on my cane. I could no longer trusted it to provide the necessary stability; so I had to remove it and revert to using a single cane tip. I will be looking for another tip of this style; but one that is more rigid.

Things work great. Dad was using the traditional cane tip and constantly having to find somewhere to lean the cane and it would slide to the floor. The four legged cane is bulky and he didn't like using it. These cane tips are heavy duty and seem as if they will last and using these, the cane stands alone. Such a simple thing that makes life just a little but easier for my dad.

I have been using this on a homemade cane for several months now and I just love it. Much more stable than a single and if it is not in use it will stand up by itself. If it does fall over just step on the edge of it and it will flip right up and i do not have to bend over to pick it up. I have a factory made quad cane and i love this one even more.

This can tip is really wonderful! My cane doesn’t find its way to the floor 10 times a day. It does stand up. It’s made of rubber so the sides don’t break like the plastic ones do. I was concerned about being able to walk with it. I don’t like the quad canes. But you can hardly tell there is anything different on the cane tip! Just had my hip replaced. This cane tip fits the bill for me!

Fits securely on the Vive folding cane I bought for my dad. It’s smaller and less bulky than I thought it would be, which makes me happy because I feel like my dad won’t be too embarrassed to use it. The cane now stands on its own, I can’t tell you how many times his old cane thwacked to the floor from being propped on something. He has some added stability now from the quad cane base. this foot makes a huge difference in the stability of my cane when walking. Before this foot was added, my cane had slipped out from under me on several occasions causing near falls. Now I know I can safely walk without slipping. The added bonus is that I can stand it upright near me without it falling over all the time. I am very happy with this purchase.

This cane tip was easy to change and is much studier than my old one. Love that it stands by itself.
