Genuinely shocked it works.
It is a direct replacement and went on without issue. The piece that held my jets on my Nikki cracked and thought I could just replace that out but it had other issues once I got looking at it. The gaskets were turning to mush. It was 9 years old. An official Nikki carb cost $264. Wasn’t about to spend that much and rebuilding with parts was about $100. So I took a chance with this one. I have no complaints. I did put the throttle link on backwards but that’s on me. Caught it immediately before firing it up. If I had to complain, the low idle adjustment screw is a little too aggressive. An 1/8th of a turn makes huge differences. Minor issue but I got it right. Very happy with results. Longevity remains to be seen.

Simple to install and started right up
It was straight forward to install and started right up. I did have to add a gasket sealer due to the Manifold-Intake being bowed but not a huge issue. Runs like new now.

Worked on 26.0 hp Briggs and Stratton V-Twin...eventually
Installed easily but the bowl would not fill with fuel. Opened it up and the needle was not interlocked with the float keeping the fuel from ever flowing in. Once I interlocked them, everything worked great!

This is the carburetor .for a Briggs and Straton mod.44R677
After 2 carbs , that stated , they fit a Husqvarna yth22v46 they looked like the carb that came original, it wasn't, there is no spring on the choke and they never worked . I went to a parts site for Briggs and Straton engine and found model no. 44R677 according to model number printed on valve cover needed a carb part no.593393 . I ordered it and it was the exact fit . It started without starting fluid and idled like it was supposed to . I read many reviews that stated they wish they could find a carb that had a return spring for the choke ,,,, here it is ..!!! thank you so much. Watch a u tube video it took about 2 hours. some special tools needed.

Carb works great on my lawn tractor
I bought this carb for my John Deer LA175 tractor mower that has a 26 hp B&S motor. I am a DIY person, and it took about 1 1/2 hours to install this carb. One needs a flat blade screwdriver, 1/4" drive with extensions, 7/16" & 3/8" wrenches, pliers, T-25 and T-30 Toryx sockets and special E5 external toryx deep socket. The kit comes with all the necessary gaskets. Was a perfect fit and lawn tractor is working great.

Look at the choke linkage on your old carb first.
Worked great right from the start. This carb has the 'T' shaped choke linkage that is for the throttle controlled choke. Others come with the 'L' shape linkage which is for a manual choke.

Make sure what gaskets you need!
Briggs & Stratton has 3 different intake gaskets for the motors they used this carb on and the carb came with only one. Needless to say, the ones that came with the carb weren't the ones I needed. Had to order from Replacement parts the right gaskets and wait another week to finish the project. More of a Briggs and Stratton issue since they don't even identify what gasket options were used. Easy solution would be to include all 3 options with the carb.
