Beautiful bed, fine workmanship and finish! I think previous complaints about weak slates are wrong. Yes, they are springy, and for a cleaver reason. The flex engineered into the bed's design replicates the give of a box spring, and avoids the unyielding condition of a plywood base. Assembling was quick and very simple. The bed is a little large, which allows for ease of makeup.

WOW! This bed is amazing.. super easy to assemble, sturdy, and great looking! I have the ‘over-sized’ circa 2000 furniture in my primary bedroom, will be replacing with Nectar. I shopped the more expensive option too, really happy with Nectars price and quality!

Biggest piece of junk ever!!! Very cheap wood frame that was splintered and scratched right out of the box! The person helping me actually got a splinter in her finger during the installation. BTW, because of this person's medical history, they need to be careful about getting foreign objects trapped under their skin. The wooden support slats were very flimsy, and I was afraid I was going to get splinters in my hand during installation. Also, the holes DID NOT LINE UP for placing the slats on the frame, and one of the pegs to secure the slats actually broke off. I personally own a THUMA (which I would highly recommend to anyone), but it comes at a much higher price point. Still, I did not expect this piece of cheap junk. SHAME ON YOU NECTAR!!! SHAME ON YOU, AMAZON!!! I ordered this bed for my 92-year-old mom's caregiver. I live 1.5 hours away and came to help install the bed. Afraid it will break - definitely not a 500 lb support as in the description. Multiple scratches right out of the box, and as mentioned, splintered wood. The BBB would not approve of this for sure!!! Also, it took 3 people to put this cheap TWIN piece of junk together. I put my QUEEN-SIZED THUMA together by myself, although it was much heavier. Waiting to hear back from you, NECTOR AND AMAZON!!!! Amazon, you should not be selling cheap junk like. For a vendor to sell anything under their name, of such inferior "quality", they are just out to make a buck. I would NEVER purchase any other of Nectar's furniture at any price point after having this experience.

This bed was so VERY easy to set up! NO tools! Would recommend for sure!

It was quick and easy to put together with a second set of hands. This is a completely tool free assembly. I wasn’t sure how stable it would be considering there are no bolts, but I was surprised. This is rock solid with zero shimmy. The stain isn’t perfect. There was a place where some glue ran and kept the stain from getting to the wood. There is a gap at the head and will be better with the headboard. I appreciate the fact it’s made from bamboo and expect it to hold up.

Very sturdy construction. Assembled in under 30 minutes. Looks great, especially with the headboard. Item is excellent and would definitely recommend it.

Easy to put together, looks nice at first glance. Our was slightly damaged in shipping, but they made it right. That’s where the positives end. It’s not the sturdiest bed, and longevity is not there. A little over a year in, and the support beam that runs lengthwise down the middle of the bed has snapped. A relatively thin little beam anyway, I don’t think its strength was enhanced by the design drilling holes in it for legs. Very disappointed.

This is the most incredible product. Absolutely as simple to assemble as the models smiling in the video demonstrated. The product is exactly as shown, solid and great quality. It took 2 seniors 20 minutes to assemble, and any size could easily be assembled alone by one person.
