It is very costly, so memory foam was created as a poor substitute which breaks down over time and is too hot for comfort. I just purchased an all latex bed which was great splurge. I highly recommend the pillow. Just choose Talalay latex. It is mentioned in seller's product titles because it is superior latex. Great for allergy sufferers. Use the thicker end under my neck, and LOVE IT!I read my kindle for 30-60 minutes in bed, and worked for side sleeping and reading. Although I do have about an inch of pillow spacer underneath it. Guess my necks likes about 6 inches underneath.To repeat, first impression, waaayyyyy toooooo soft. Sleeping impression, LOVE - IT!
