Excellent combination of songs Remastered to bring out the best of this artist. She is that much better and in an updated sound that should last forever. Amazon has done everyone who loves "Sada" a solid and made it possible to enjoy these songs to a fuller extent. It's a good time to be alive.....

I just got this CD and it is a great selection. I highly recommend to those who do not really want to buy all her CDs; for me it is enough. However, I should say I was very disappointed with the packaging: only to photos of her (beautiful) face, but she would deserve a decent booklet with liner notes on her career and more photos.

I'm a really big fan of Sade, I first fell in love with her voice many years ago when I listened to Love Deluxe on cassette at a friend's place. I've eventually owned that album on CD, MP3 and now Vinyl as well. This collection, is arguably one of the best compilations of Sade's work as it encompasses early to recent in a nice chronological fashion and as a result it gives you an amazing journey into the shifting sounds in her music and her voice. If you're a Sade fan, this collection is a no-brainer to have and cherish for a lifetime, so I recommend it highly. Now coming to the quality of the recording and the vinyls, I found both these aspects to be lacking. My first copy of this collection had 3 badly warped LPs and I eventually had to return them as I could just not play them. It was really disappointing to see a brand new copy in such bad condition. Fearing that this might have something to do with Amazon, I purchased another copy directly through the Sade store and sadly that suffered the same fate as well. At this point, I was frustrated, but decided to give Amazon one last try when I saw the collection back in stock. Luckily, third time was a charm and I ended up with perfect LPs. So, beware of quality issues when buying this collection on Vinyl. Coming to the sound quality, I think the pressing is generally excellent, however, I find my copy of "Love Deluxe" to just have that edge on sound quality. The dynamics on "Love Deluxe" seem more extended when comparing the same tracks on this compilation, so there's definitely a difference there. The degree to which one can discern this will obviously depend on how keen a listener you are, so please accept this comment with a pinch of salt. Needless to say, the sound quality isn't bad at all, this is just my observation when comparing the two albums on vinyl. Finally, there are some ticks and pops on some areas and I wash all my LPs before listening to them, even new ones. My "Love Deluxe" LP on the other hand is dead quiet, so there's definitely some minor QA issues with this compilation. To summarize, this is still a good complilation, but I had to take away one star due to the warping and sound quality issues.
