Digi-Pas 2-Axis Smart Master Precision Level DWL1500XY Bluetooth, 0.0002"/ft (0.02 mm/M) (With NIST Certificate)

I saw similar Bluetooth version some time ago, thought it make a lot of sense, but the price was really prohibitive. Now this is just a fraction and I can resist no more! On the quality side, the product comes with a calibration certificate, solid feel and look. A quick check confirmed good repeatability as claimed. On the Apps side, running on a Samsung Note5, the setup is straight forward, and stable. I use mainly the 2D bubble screen, the display is simple and large enough to read with just a quick glance. Overall, i find the product very useful for me. Cutting much of the setup time as I can adjust while looking at the readings real time and near immediate settling time. Helps my back since no more ups and downs to check on the readings placed on the top.

I had done enough research before I purchased this product so I knew exactly what to expect from the product. I had a few I could have chosen from but I chose the Dig-Pas DWL1500XY because of the other customer reviews and price compared to the other similar products. The packaging/case for the level is great to keep it safe when not in use. The app set up and initial instructions where easy to follow. The product itself appears to be well built, solid and easy/simple to use and read from its own display if one does not need the app. The app and bluetooth feature allows me to make adjustments away from the level itself by looking at my phone display. I would recommend this to buyers who know how to set up equipment that work with apps. You can still use the level (with limited functions) without the phone by reading from the display on the level itself.

It is nice . sometimes its a bit fussy to calibrate but it is very usefull. Saves alot of time getting up off the floor when levelin g a machine

The Digi-Pas DWL1500XY is very accurate and easy to use. It makes it much easier to level equipment not having to have two people or going back and forth looking at a bubble. The app is easy to use and only takes a few minutes to set up. Our company sets equipment daily and everyone loves the Digi-Pas!

Great tool that has made field service work so much easier. Have had multiple customers go out and purchase their own when they've seen it in use. Would purchase again. Only flaw is the plastic body, customer dropped a tool on the level and the shell cracked. Still works though so I'm not going to complain.

This is a level as opposed to a digital protractor. As a level, this DWL-1500XY is remarkable. It is truly usable to the third decimal which is 1/1000 of a degree. To put that in perspective, at 5 inches (about the distance between the pads in the X direction), 0.001 degree difference is 0.0000873 inches change in thickness under the pad. So even a tiny piece of dust could change the reading. So I tested it on a 3/4 inch thick glass dining room table. Over 10 inches, I took readings every inch and found that the glass top was not flat but bending slightly. But the best part is that the readings were repeatable. Remarkable for the price.

The phone app makes it easy to set the level on the reference surface of the machine then you can get down to the leveling feet and make adjustments. No crank, get up, then go back to the floor and crank again. The results where very repeatable. It agrees well with our Starrett level, it is easier to use and at the end you can report the level before leveling and after.

I'm restoring a 1960's Clausing lathe and really wanted a way to tell level with high accuracy. I saw these and was very interested and finally decided to take the plunge. The Good: It seems to be very accurate and repeatable. I did have to calibrate, but didn't find it any big deal. Just be sure you have a very smooth and close-to-level surface with zero movement. Also, be patient. After any adjustment be sure you wait about ten seconds for the level to stabilize. It is by no means instant. In fact, it's pretty slow. I'm sure they are heavily filtering the sensor results to ensure stability. I found it repeatable to that 0.0002"/ft specification. The Bad: It's not a professional product. The base is aluminum and is cast and no machined in any way. The picture is after I put it on a blued surface plate. I had to actually lay the blue on a bit thick to see the contact points. There are three! The base should be cast iron and should be precision ground. Since I'm working with scraped surfaces, those contact points are going to be up and down and not reliably sitting on the bearing surfaces. And it's short, so any error is magnified. I'll probably look at fine sanding it so the flats are actually flat. I don't know that I would trust the v-groove for much of anything. The Ugly: Charging for the app. You get one "redemption" code when you buy the device. You can't install on another phone without paying for the app. What a money grab. In the next year I'll probably upgrade my phone and will have to spend money on the app. Why? It's a $400 product. The app is useless without the $400 product! Charging for the app may bring in a small amount of money, but at the expense of annoying every single customer. If they want to charge for an enhanced app, no problem, but the app to use the product should be free!

スマホ連動で大変使いやすい。２軸同時に見れて即座に反応してくれるのも良い。普段はA級レベル２個を使用してますが、大型工作機械等のレベル調整にはこれを使ってレベル調整をしています。手元でレベルが確認できるので楽です。

Great level a+++

Using it to level CNC machines, theoretically not as good as a bubble level. But in practice just as good. Use with IPad, tested previously with Android but depends on phone software for reliability and mine was not reliable. Use it for Rough level and moving level, just works

Works perfectly. Only after paying so much you have to pay additional 20 Euro for an App .... it's a little bit ridiculous .....
