I have now purchased this moisturiser a number of times such is my appeal for this organic product by Weleda. It makes a great winter barrier moisturiser especially when your face is exposed to the harsh cold winds and driving rain and then the drying effects of central heating within the home.The consistency is rather thick which makes you wonder if it is suitable for the face but really it is. Just a few small dabs applied on the areas deemed necessary then massage in with a slow, gentle circular motion. Initially your face will look greasy but this disappears pretty quickly as it absorbs deep within. You now have a protective barrier making your skin look hydrated and really healthy. It actually gives you a youthful glow. I use this pretty much all year round alongside a sunscreen by Brickell as I am outdoors a lot, either at work or recreational and I am keen to keep my skin looking at its best despite being male. The smell is quite unique and obviously all natural. It smells rather botanical in a herbal kind of way which I actually like. Lastly, being organic is a great plus and reassuring that no unpleasant and unnecessary chemicals reside in the tube to eventually make their way into your body with unknown consequences!!! Really happy and will continue using this product forever more !!!

Blown away by this thick, beautiful cream. It doesn't leave a horrible film or enlarge your pores. So sweet-smelling and really MOISTURISES. I cannot recommend this highly enough

I was advised to use this by a make up artist in the run up to my wedding. I have mature skin now and can have patches of dryness. This smelled lovely, and it was very thick and rich. Almost like putting on an ointment rather than a cream. I used it sparingly and had no breakouts. Will continue to put this on at night over my own moisturiser.

Really nice moisturiser, feels rich and a little goes a long way. Ideal for dry areas of skin and leaves it feeling soft. Would recommend if you’re looking for something a bit more nourishing.

Weleda Skin Food has been a staple in my morning and evening skincare routine for years. It’s incredibly rich and nourishing, perfect for dry skin, and gives that luxurious, deeply moisturised feel that lasts.Despite being so thick, it’s never caused me any breakouts, which is a huge plus. It applies really easily even under makeup and a small amount goes a long way. The scent is light but not overpowering. My skin always feels soft, smooth, and well cared for after using it. It’s also very affordable for the quality, making it great value for money.My only downside is the new aluminium packaging. While I understand the eco-friendly approach, it’s quite difficult to get all the product out, especially towards the end.Overall, still a fantastic moisturiser that I’ll continue to repurchase. I just wish the packaging was a bit more user-friendly.

This moisturiser never lets me down! As a fellow dry skin girlie , this is by far my favourite thick moisturiser ever. The smell is nice , the consistency , soothing to skin and the glow ??? Don’t get me started ! 100% recommend

Love this, just not for my face. I use it on my lips overnight to keep them moisturised. I find its too thick and oily for my combo skin. Works great for dry and hand too!

Only need a very small amount as it’s very thick, smells nice. Moisturises well
