Dec 2020Further review. Just starting making Free standing lace ornaments for Christmas and I’ve currently completed 27. We can’t go away for Christmas this year due to COVID-19. This stuff is brilliant, still as good as ever and I’ve ordered more. As I said earlier this is as good as the most expensive ones I have used and quite frankly why pay more. I’m retired so watch what I spend. Oh and their threads are very good as well.Keep safe and well everyone and enjoy your hobbies. JeanI have been a machine embroiderer for some 20 years and particularly enjoy free standing lace projects which require a good quality, water soluble backing. It’s fair to say that WS has always been expensive, some more than others. When I saw this on Amazon I was delighted with the price but obviously it has to do the job and so I bought a roll to trial. I am more than delighted. A complex and dense free standing lace design stitched out perfectly on two layers ( my usual combination) with no tears or splits and has washed out well. I used warm water to wash out as I usually do with no problems. I am VERY PLEASED with this find and will be ordering more . For once it’s nice to find something reasonably priced in the UK.

I have embroidered 4 different lace items and all have embroidered beautifully with no issues-no stabiliser tearing, and the residues washes away so easily.Very happy with product, just ordered a larger width of the same stabilised as I had to overlap the stabiliser. Even that worked perfectly, just held the overlapped edge when it reached that part of the design-no issues. Good stabiliser, very useful!

I love how easy it is to fix in the frame, perfect fir a 5x7 frame

The best product I've found at a reasonable price, only negative is thickness has been a little inconsistent on the roll, but I use 2 layers for FSL.so that hasn't been to much of a problem.

Used this for a topping on machine embroidery design ! Perfect !

Ik had twijfels over de kwaliteit voor deze lage prijs, maar het valt me heel erg mee. Je kan het niet opstrijken dus je moet het vastmaken met bijvoorbeeld naalden, de borduurring of een steel, maar ik ben over het algemeen blij verrast. Het laat wel een beetje een residu achter, maar niet heel storend.

No estoy acostumbrada a usarlo y me ha costado un poco, pero su función es correcta, escribí lo que quería bordad con lápiz y al acabar le pase un poco de agua y el papel se fue. Buen producto, lo recomiendo.
