PADI Adventures in Diving: Advanced Training for Open Water Divers

The book was dated, however in good condition and well worth th3 money

Being a cheap skate who likes to be prepared, I bought this book prior to going on my AOW course (In August).It's the usual PADI manual, with chapters on each subject (in this case the different types of dive you can take to make up the Advanced Open Water course, multiple choice tests as you go and a Knowledge Review at the end of each chapter, which you need to show your Instructor on the course.This was very cheap, but isn't the latest edition, so doesn't cover all the options (Peak Performance Buoyancy is missing, but I'm not sure what else might be), but it covers most and I'm sure little has changed from 1991 in thinking (much of the information seems unchanged from my Open Water manual bought just last October).Worth picking up as a used buy just to read up on some of the extra things to consider for navigation, deep diving, drift diving, multiple level diving and wreck diving.I'm hoping to do Navigation, Deep, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck and Night Diving for my AOW and only the Buoyancy dive isn't covered in this edition.

Unfortunately this was a 1991 edition, so utterly useless as extremely outdated.

NO dive tables x2 came with the book as pictured.

I bought this knowing it wasn't a recent edition.It presented basic but useful information that helped with my scuba certification.There are probably better books or other educational materials but this certainly wasn't "bad". I'd recommend it to first time scuba divers but also research newer technology,equipment and procedures.

Needed this book for a scuba class I was taking. Didn't want to spend the money on a new book and found this. The book was in great shape and not all marked up. It was the current edition and it saved me big bucks!
