**Q: Are these BPA free?**
A: It doesnt look like they are, but I think that BPA is more of an issue for drinking or eating out of. Something you might repeatedly wash and could leech into the food or drink

A: Hello and Thank you for your question on The First Years Stacking Up Cups.  Yes, these are BPA and Phthalate free.

**Q: Would these stacking cups be good for a 3 yr old toddler?**
A: I think they would be great for a 3 year old. I'm not sure why others say they wouldn't be. I got them for my 20 month old daughter. Granted all children/babies have different development and stages of learning and enjoyment, but these little cups have a lot to offer babies and children of all ages. And as an adult I am impressed with them as well. It's a steal of a deal at less than $4 including shipping. I was surprised and impressed to see that each cup had a number on the bottom as well as different shaped holes depending on the number. Many children and even adults I imagine lol are not going to get that concept, but it by no means necessitates that they couldn't and shouldn't enjoy playing with the cups. My baby loves to line them up and put things and out of them, and she wanted to bring the biggest blue one into the pool with us so it worked awesomely as an 8-holed sprinkler. Anyways, they are cute, fun, and have more to offer as the child progresses and learns and understands new concepts and things. I'm glad I got them for my baby when she was not even 2 and I hope that you got them for the 3 year old toddler despite weird people telling you not to, or if you haven't since you asked that question last November hopefully now you will get them for the nearly 4 year old. No reason not to!

**Q: How long can it be used?**
A: Depends on how long your child stays entertained by them. I introduced these around 6 months & my daughter's now 1, she will still sit & stack them. Or throw them! Lol

Simple, colorful, and so worth it! These stacking cups have been a hit in our home — we’ve used them during bath time What I like most is that they’re not just fun, but also educational. Each cup has a number at the bottom, so we use them to start counting practice and color recognition in a super relaxed way. They're also great for hand-eye coordination as baby learns to stack and unstack. They rinse and dry easily, and since they don’t have hidden crevices, they don’t get moldy like some other bath toys.
