I have never sucessfully applied a screen protector to any of my phones.As I had bought a new one (opened but never used on Tesco ebay web site for seconds and refurb phones) the box still had the manufacturers seal and the screen pristene didn't dare use it or touch the screen until this item arrived. following the instructions but not cleaning the screen as I didn't see the point as it was as new I applied the frame after removing the first cover of the screen protector, I carried out the instructions by pressing on the middle top and sliding my finger down slowly and observing the new screen protector adhering to the screen and no bubbles etc, lifting the frame off slowly the other screen protector cover then pulled off leaving it on the phone perfectly. I pressed down on the edges with a screen cleaning cloth to ensure proper adhesion and hey presto a screen protector fitted without fuss and no bubbles. I have been using the phone and setting up the fingerprint sensor after fitting the screen and it works perfectly if you set it up before fitting the protector you may have to reprogram the sensor but as I did it after fitting it, it has no problems.The protector has a slot for the front camera not just a hole so it may look slightly odd but I have no problem with it.I use this case for indoor use ESR for Samsung Galaxy S24 Case, 3 Stand Modes for S24 Stand Case, Military-Grade Drop Protection, Supports Wireless Charging, Slim Phone Cover for Samsung S24 Case, Boost Kickstand Case, Clear and with the stand on the back it works great and still charges by wireless charger. I installed the Samsung Galaxy S22 screen protector a few days ago as my old screen protector became badly damaged and needed urgent replacement.So far, so good, and I am very pleased. I've only had protectors installed in a shop before as my one previous attempt at self installtion did not work out well, even using all three of the screens in the kit provided. These type of glass protectors and my neoprene phone cover have saved my phone screens from breaking when I have dropped my phone before. This protector seems to have the glue as well. Some of the glass type protectors apparently do not have the glue. But with this installation process you don't really get to see much of the screen protector.The instructions were clear. The cleaning accessories were good and worked well. I was worried about still having some dust specks on the screen and having problems because of that. But the big sticker worked well and I used the small stickers too, just to make sure, so managed to avoid any dust on the screen.You put the protector with its installation frame on the phone and it aligns up perfectly. Then you press. I initially thought I had air bubbles, but after smoothing out, it all looks ok. There is a cut out at the top on the protector for the selfie camera which I haven't had with the shop installed protectors.I was very anxious about the many reports and bad reviews about the fingerprint sensor not working well after the installation. At the best of times, even before I have had previous screen protectors installed, my S22 has a very temperamental fingerprint sensor. My previous Samsung phones and tablets were so much better on their non screen fingerprint sensors. However, I spent a good amount of time cleaning the glass in the area of the sensor before installing the protector and then spent more time rubbing the protector on the glass in that area. This protector, so far, works well with the fingerprint sensor and better than with the previous shop installed protector. I am very satisfied so far, but it is early days, and the durability is still to be determined. There is also a complete second protector set to use when I need it.
