Nordlux Pendular Light, Silver, 0 x 0 x 27 cm

Like a UFO hovering over our dining table. The ceiling 'rose' that comes with it is a black monstrosity, so we bought a separate matte satin steel rose to go with it. We did want to change the cord to grey, but the built-in black fabric cable isn't removeable (by normal means!). It's ultra-smart, easy to fit and looks superb.You will need to think about what bulb you use with it because its shallow design means you see the bulb (and may get glare). We're currently trying a 6W frosted LED mini golfball, but there is still a bit of glare if you're sitting under it.

The thing that really lets this down does not appear in the pictures. The fitting that attaches to the ceiling is very large and black and looks very out of proportion to the actual shade. i had to have it painted white to try to make it "disappear" a bit into the ceiling.

Excellent product but bulbs are had to find. Looks more expensive than it was - someone even asked if they were bespoke! Great delivery too.

Bought 3 for my kitchen and look great lots of comments on them. Give off great light spread.Only gripe is that the rose to connect all the wires is tiny and not great if you have a lot of cables like I had but the electrician was able to wire it.I'd say most of the cost is in the metal shade and the rose etc are a bit cheaper to keep costs down.But all that said very happy with them.
