Really nice book. It explains the material in a concise but thorough manner that makes it easy to read and learn a lot quickly. It also includes many real-world, historical evidence to back up what it is talking about.It would take about 10 minutes to skim-read the material that was covered in a 1 hour lecture. Then, of course, after lectures or before exams I could go back and focus on the material that was harder to pick up.

Overall, the text is good and goes pretty deeply into the models used, without getting too technical. My main criticism is that it sometimes can't see the forest from the trees, i.e. gets too focused on the structure of how a model works without simply explaining the underlying idea or reasoning behind it.

I had to buy this book for my class. It was twice as expensive if i bought it at the bookstore on campus!!!It was brand new and fast shipping!!! AWESOME!

Had to purchase this for an intro Econ class. Both the book and the class were terrible. Would not recommend, but you're probably not looking at reviews if you're looking to buy this book.
