I bought these as a replacement for a similar product made by a different company, assuming they'd be exactly the same. I was wrong. These are superior in almost every way to the other stirrup-style shirt stays sold here. They're made from a wider, stouter elasticized ribbon. The elastic itself is stronger, and more appropriate for the job. The reinforced machine stitching at the foot opening and at the notch of the Y near the top is so strong it's like the bar tacking you'd see on a pair of Levis. All the clip hardware is of higher quality. And finally, they're half the price.Seriously, this is an easy decision. These stays are head and shoulders above their competition. I'm kind of embarrassed and mad that I wore the others for so long.

These are THE BEST available. I’ve been through many, many shirt stays and the clasps which attach to the shirt always break or slip loose. Not these. These clips are heavy duty and grasp the shirt material very strongly without damaging the material. I like a very taut shirt and have an active job where I’m constantly in and out of a vehicle while wearing a couple of belts. The stirrup feature is perfectly worn with boots and not really felt under the foot. For a dress event, the stirrup would be seen, so another option may be considered which would be attached to the top of the sock. These are the best.

I don't know about anyone else but for some reason whenever my shirt gets all pulled out and wrinkly I get so damn self conscious thinking the whole room's eyes are are on me even though logically I know nobody really cares. I would always excuse myself to the bathroom every hour or two to readjust my dress shirt to make sure it was nice and tucked in. Nothing ruins my confidence more than looking sloppy. Eventually I decided to google some methods on how to keep my shirt nicely tucked in throughout a long day and the most common answer I found was to use a shirt stay. I then discovered the Redbay Shirt Stays and after using them for a few days I have to say I am absolutely in love with these things! Ever after a long day of constant movement my shirt stayed nice and tucked in and I didn't have excuse myself to the bathroom to readjust my shirt once! This was a huge confidence booster and time saver for me. I purchased the Y strap option and it worked amazing, I just attach one hook from each leg to the back of my dress shirt and the other to the sides of my dress s*** and make sure there is a firm grip. I can't believe I didn't use a shirt stay sooner but now that I have discovered them, I don't think I'll ever put on a dress shirt (unless it's a casual one) without them again.

Wide elastic. Thick and Sturdy plastic adjusters. I'm allergic to cheap metal like nickel so I had to find something that didnt clip to my socks and rub my legs. This works perfect! No more ticking my shirt in all day everytime I get out of the car. And no more going to the bathroom just to undo all tyr belt keepers and everything else just to retuck my shirt in. Thumbs up for me. I'm going to buy a couple more just to have as back up.

I'm 6'1", and I've used the military style shirt stays purchased from the Navy Exchange. These are better quality in multiple ways. First the metal clasps are a better design. Second they are wider and hold the shirt down better. Third, they don't chaff my legs as much. I wear these just about everyday and they are the best I've used. The only thing I don't like is when I go sit on the toilet one of the backside ones comes loose as it's stretched past it's limit. But nevertheless, a solid product.

At first glance they are very high quality. The elastic is wide and the clamps are strong. If they fail early, I will update my review. Just remember to place the rounded side of the clamps to your skin or else the backside will dig in as it is square. Also, I am 5'7 with a 30 inseam and they are perfect right out of the package but there appears to be about +/- 6 inches of adjustment available.

My job requires me to wear khaki pants with a tucked-in polo shirt. I often found myself re-tucking my shirt into my pants a couple dozen times every day. I'm a Health and Safety inspector and often find crouching down to look under desks, inspecting above ceilings, crawling into manholes, bending, stretching, sitting down and getting up constantly, etc. My polo shirt was always coming untucked and I looked like I couldn't dress myself properly.I decided to buy these after a friend who is in the military suggested them. I wear them every day now. It doesn't matter what I do, these shirt stays keep my shirt perfectly tucked into my pants at all times. Not only is it convenient, but I feel more professional as well. I've always been somewhat jealous of men who walk around all day looking like their shirt hasn't moved an inch. Well now that's me!.I highly recommend this product!

I was on the fence about even purchasing shirt stays and then when I decided to give them a chance I wasn't sure purchasing these ones were the right ones. I wear slim fit pants and usually move around quite a bit and was worried how these would stay inconspicuous. I read a few reviews and didn't find the following information so here it is: I purchased the Y shirt stays. When you are placing the shirt stays, apply on the shirt as you would normally but on the bottom you want wrap the bottom part so that it runs along your thigh and attaches to the socks on the medial (inside) part of the sock. Wore it at a wedding and throughout the running around and organizing the event, my shirt stayed tucked in, in place and no one knew i was wearing the shirt stay.
