Body-Tec Adjustable Stabilising neoprene knee support NHS use

This isn't a very good product at all.The smell when I opened the packaging was terrible, three days later I can still smell it in the cupboard I put it in and it's so overpowering.The support is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had the misfortune of wearing, although it did fit my knee correctly I found that the Velcro was big and bulky, it rustles a ridiculous amount regardless of what I do to try and prevent it. The knee circular part is massively uncomfortable and doesn't appear to support my knee at all. I work part-time as a vehicle photographer, a role that can involve a lot of moving, crouching and climbing. In recent weeks, I felt my knees needed a bit of support - so I bought these for that purpose. I also thought they'd give my knees a bit of protection against hitting things. I wear baggy work trousers, so put them on underneath. I felt that I'd look like an '80s WWF wrestler if I put them on the outside.I wore them for a couple of hours before being forced to take them off. The lack of elasticity in the Velcro straps means that they work as a tourniquet when you squat down - not good. They also slip and move around on your leg. I decided to give them a second go, this time cutting off the Velcro straps with a view to just using them as padding. But, they slipped around again - to the point where I felt they were doing more harm than good.I appreciate that I was probably trying to use them for a purpose they were not designed for, ie. supporting a knee after an injury where the wearer isn't running and crouching every minute or so. But even so, I don't think I'd recommend these to someone with an injury.

Excellent, I have nevrosis of the knee, so my knee kept bending backwards. As it's a long wait to see a specialist I bought one of these. I ordered a large, but it is tight, however I CAN get it on, and it works extremely well, no more bending backwards, and the pain has almost completely disappeared (I have chronic pain Korff grade IV, so that's ah amazing accomplishment. It's so good I've now ordered one for the other knee too

I have hypermobility syndrome which makes my joints extremely flexible and painful and affects a lot of my joints including my knees. These supports help a lot when my knees are hurting and make it more comfortable for me until they settle down or if I need to walk quite a bit.

This product was very difficult to get on my knee has swollen quite a bit so I ordered the large thinking it would be a better fit but alas it was not. Practically stopped my blood circulation and left my knee sorer than before. I thought this would be the best option for me as I’ve ruptured the tendon in my knee but I was wrong. Not recommended at all.

Having hurt my knee last year I used this support and it definitely helped with the stability of my knee and allowed me to get on with everyday activities. Comfort was fine although i would give your skin a rest after a few hours and remove it as it did start to itch the back of my knee a bit, but this wasn't a major concern.

Quality is what I expected and is very good value for the price. However be aware of the size you need. I ordered a size large based on the advice given by another review, and found it was very tight below the knee. Hopefully it will stretch a little in use, but as I only weigh 160lb and have normal calf muscles, I'd advise going for a size larger than the measurements suggest. I paid extra for quick delivery, but it arrived in the post about three days later, at the same time as other items ordered at the same time under super saver. This was probably more to do with local Post Office deliveries, but it may not be worth paying the extra for expedited delivery.
