Large enough print. Now learning Hebrew, and comparing with the English versions of the Holy Bible. Helps a lot to know the difference. Dorothy

Let me correct something here for those bashing this
I just want to let you know that the reason for the Brit Chadasha (New Testament) to be transliterated into the Masoretic Text is to tell the Jews that Jesus (Yeshua) is the only man (Messiah) on earth that fulfilled hundreds of prophecies that no one else has done. There's even a Jewish sect that they believed that some great Rabbi is the messiah. Guess what? It's been 50 years and he did nothing! You people are 2000 years too late.I own the Complete Jewish Bible By Dr. Stern and so far, I think the translation is by far very accurate. I also own my first bible that is of a different, modern translation (Good News Translation). The main point between the CJB and the one I'm writing about is to restore the Jewishness of the Gospels. MANY MANY MANY English translations in Christian bookstores are guilty of creating an Anti-Semitic book, especially with Acts 20:7 debate.Three types of people will give this a bad rating:1. Jews who are in denial. I pray for the Jews one day to read the Book of Isaiah and the other major prophets because it relates to Jesus (Yeshua). I can't understand why. If they can't handle reading Isaiah, then they don't believe in the Word of God. No exceptions.2. Rabbis who don't want their fellow Jews to know thy TRUTH. Because the false prophets killed off the true prophets that God chosed. This is what the Rabbis are doing to these poor Jews, To NOT know thy TRUTH.3. Ignorant Christians who believed that the Church has replaced Israel. This is WRONG WRONG WRONG. The Torah has not been abolished. It was our SINS that was nailed. Most Christians are hypocritical nowadays.Overall, I will ask you, especially the Jew reading this. Do "YOU" know to know the truth? Then read this or the CJB (CJB is more popular than this). Do not follow the ultra-orthodox ways of the Rabbis. Yeshua has condemned them for a reason because they are not knowing the TRUTH.It doesn't make you any holier to be more orthodox. That's what the Pharisees were doing. They were fasting twice as much to be reliant on God, but it's not necessary. Don't be a hypocrite.

Excellent!
All the negative reviews have come from those who are Jewish who cannot understand or discern the Spirit of G-d.Religion makes one blind and will not let one consider the Truth as darkness is already your master in religious ideas...I have enjoyed this translation and The Dvar HaShem - The Word of G-d penetrates my being even as I read, as I am familiar with the Words and their uses...The print is a little small...

Messianic Jewish Deception
WHat this translation reflects is the inherent dishonesty of the Messianic Jewish Movement. There is abslutely nothing Jewish about this book and it has absolutely nothing to do with Orthodox Judaism. It is a 100% Christian book with a Christian translation teaching Christianity. The New Testament (yes, "Brit Chadashah" is just an attempt to hide the fact that this is nothing more than the Christian New Testament) is not a Jewish document, has never been a Jewish document and has absolutely nothing to do with Judaism of an kind. I was given a copy of this book by a Messianic Jew trying to prove to me that it was still Judaism- it had the opposite effect and just reinforced my notion of the dishonesty and deceit employed by the Messianic Jewish movement

Great Translation For Lost Jews
Most of the past reviewers are pretty mad about this translation. How is this misleading? The title itself tells true Jewish people what it's about (If you know Hebrew that is).The literal meaning of Brit Chadasha is 'a New Convenant By Blood'...aka Jesus' Blood. My heart is for all the lost Jewish people still believing the Messiah, Christ Jesus, has yet to come. The translation is a bit hard to read, but it's great to see the greatest covenant rewritten in the most beautiful language created.

Brilliantly Produced Book
I have over 100 versions of the Bible and so thought that this one would go down the same root as the non-Textus Receptus manuscripts. Though it does fail in some areas, it certainly brings out the Jewish roots of the New Testament. Most of the writers of the New Testament (Matthew, John, Paul, Peter and James) were Jews living in Israel at the time of Christ. The book maybe a little difficult to get into for a non-Hebrew like me, but does offer up a wealth of insight once you get your head around the format.
