These j-hooks work awesome. Very sturdy and no cable hangup as long as you secure from both mounting holes. A bonus tip for you is make sure you don't use anything less than 3/4" tappers or screws. You will not have enough bite. These have about a 1/2" dept from the hole to back of hook.

I used these to hang ethernet cables in my attic. They worked very nicely to organize the cables and keep them out of the way. They can hold a significant number of cables and the wire clip makes sure they stay in the hook. They feel sturdy and have rounded edges so pulling wire through them won't hurt the cables.

Bought a new house and decided to run multiple cat6/coax drops to all the rooms. This made my life so much easier. Being able to run multiple wires and use the bracket to continue to add new wires as you go was a lifesaver. I agree with the comment that the curved back did make it a pain to mount it flush in some areas but its still holds tight. I overloaded one of these on a corner turn and the bracket took a beating as I kept pulling cable but it stayed on. My only suggestion would to be have hook end of the J come up higher. As the hook starts to get overloaded, on top of having to mount it on a slant on attic rafters, a lot of the load was resting on the bracket which is meant more to keep the wires on the hook and not to actually bare the load.

These hooks were used for a Cat 6 cable installation at 2 foot on center. It is working well supporting cable. The holes made it easy to mount to my 2x4 blocks. I bent my hooks slightly to make my installation look better in my steel building.

This item was used for running multiple cables for doing a theatre room. They performed perfectly!

I used these for the installation of several thousand feet of low-voltage cabling in my new house. The only critique I can give is that the channel near the mounting point is curved for strength, but also makes mounting against a 2x4 or similar slightly difficult. Regardless, they worked excellent, held large bundles of cable, and made my life MUCH easier during this install. Highly recommended!

Great sized hooks to organize cables. I love the access to be able to run in a zip tie to keep the cables from running away. Make sure you get the right screws that can support both the weight of the cables and the hook itself.
