The Echo PAS are the string trimmers where you can swap attachments on the machine. You can take off the string trimmer head and put on a blower, etc etc. Anyways, my bumpfeed worn out so I got this. I used this same system on another Echo trimmer I had and liked it. Bought one for my PAS trimmer. Easier in the long run vs bump feeds.

Most complaints seem to be unit won't hold line/cord flies out. Unit comes with what looks like .095 line which did fly out immediately. Had one from dealer years ago and was advised to use .130 line. Took a little push but .130 line works well and is much more durable. Suspect complaints about not holding line due to using the smaller diameter line. I much prefer occasionally replacing a thick line to the aggravation of bump feeds.

This is a a unit that will fit many different models of line trimmers. Has many different bushings for different models. easy to install. Have to pull hard to set line or it will not stay attached. I have only used it a short time. hope it gets better.

Weed eater

Complete waste of money. The line just flies out the head onto the ground. Thank you Amazon for sending back the money but I had my wallet stolen and had to change my credit cards. I don't know what the new card number will be.

It fit perfect on my weed eater. My weed eater is a number of years old and I couldn’t find a replacement head anywhere else. It works great now!

No instructions comes with kit but it has a lot of different size attachments to fit trimmer’s bolt. I had to use their supplied left handed nut (perfect fit for Honda) to lock head in place. Used a 17mm socket with 2” extension to tighten head in place. When trying to select which size attachment to use, tighter fit is better then a loose one. Trimmer line is so easy to replace.
