The neck ramp side is weird and uncomfortable, but then I’m a side sleeper.For side sleeping, the other, shorter side with the lower facial section is AWESOME! It’s the first time I feel like my neck has been well supported, with my head resting lower and not torqued up too high. It has really helped with the headaches I was getting.The only downside is that IF I already have a headache, the latex can be too hard feeling. I’m trying to find an alternative for those nights.But 90+% of the time, this pillow seems perfect for me and my sensitive head/neck.And I love that I have been able to experiment with the heights. I currently use all layers together, and if I had a firmer mattress rather than memory foam, I would probably need another layer in there. I wish the company sold additional layers to add on for travel / sleeping elsewhere. I’m considering ordering a 2nd pillow for that option - and to have a spare.I appreciate that the latex is 100% natural as well.

I didnt even bother sleeping on this. There is not nearly enough neck support, even with both pieces added.

I really wanted to like this pillow - the design seems really clever, and I do like the adjustability of the layers. On first impression I thought it was going to work out quite well! However, the longer I lay in bed, the more uncomfortable my neck and head were. The problem I have with most foam pillows (memory or latex) is that I start to get a pressure headache from the firmness of the material. Unfortunately that was the case with this pillow as well. I do like the pillow shape for back sleeping, though I had to turn it around to get more neck support. I tend to switch to my side during the night, and was not as happy with the head and neck support when turning toward the side of the 'divot' in the pillow. Overall I am impressed with the design of the pillow but it just wasn't the right match for me. I think it would be great for primarily back sleepers, and those who prefer a firm support (the latex feels very soft and giving on compression, but it's just the nature of a solid foam to have less movement once compressed by the weight of your head).

Extremely uncomfortable. Had to return. Could not sleep with this whatsoever. Had too much support in some areas. Was very disappointed, cause it sounds great in theory. Will stick to my temper pedic. I have bad tmj and neck problems too

I have waited 4 months to leave a review because I know it's important for those who are struggling to find a pillow. This is the perfect pillow for me and I didn't even need the inserts (which surprised me!). I can tell a HUGE difference from my previous pillows. I've tried the contours, thick pillows, etc. I debated getting the very expensive pillows that were similar to this, but I do not regret this pillow purchase. I am sleeping so much better on my back. My shoulder pain/numb arm is minimized at night, and my neck and traps feel so much better! The neck ramp is great and I am comfortable all night. I do not recommend this pillow for side sleeping, and if I do choose to sleep on my side I switch this pillow out for my old one. If there was one thing I could change it would be that it could have a cooling gel on top, it sometimes gets warm and I am hot-natured.

I was looking for a pillow with low profile. This pillow without inserts seemed to be almost perfect. Before buying it, I spent several month training myself for back sleeping. I mostly sleep on my back now, only about 10% of the time on my sides. This pillow does not work for side sleeping at all, so it was a drawback to me, but overall I liked the comfort of it for sleeping on the back. I decided to keep it.Big mistake. For the first two weeks after sleeping on this pillow I woke up with runny nose and itchy eyes. I thought I caught a cold, it was a winter after all. Then, one Saturday morning I slept more than usual and woke up with a badly swollen face, red spots over my neck, eyelids, cheeks. The swelling was so bad, I could hardly open my eyes. It did not go away for 3 days, so I had to take 2 days off because I couldn't appear in public.I've never had any allergy in my life, so it took me a long time to figure out what is going on. I excluded all suspicious food, cosmetics, vitamins, and supplements. I started taking antihistamines and this helped with swelling a bit, but horrible dermatitis remained.I finally got to the doctor. After hearing my story, he immediately asked about my pillow and advised to try to sleep without it. And voila! The first morning after a long time I did not have my face swollen! The doctor said that the allergic dermatitis that I have will take few weeks of steroid cream treatment to heal. I still have those red scaly spots, my skin on the face and neck is very itchy, and I have to use concealers and powder to appear in public. Swelling stopped completely after I removed this pillow from my bedroom.I've never had any allergy before and I DEVELOPED one with this pillow.Update: The seller was extremely helpful.

I was having difficulty sleeping and that was ruining my life. The difficulty comes from having neck arthritis and 2 disintegrated rotator cuffs that are inoperable. In desperation, I bought 7 cervical pillows and tested each one. LumaLuxe Life was the only one that worked--I returned the other six. The pillow gave me a good nite's sleep, and it's so well made I think it will last for years. To top it off, they have a superb customer service department. They helped me make some extra modifications for my situation. I give this product and company the highest recommendations possible!
