This product has all the same reference numbers as the original Sony thermal paper. UPP-110S Type 1 (normal)The image quality is horrendous compared to the Sony paper. Looks grainy and degraded, nor does it have the same sheen as the original. The paper itself also seems to be a different density because it doesn't feed as consistently. The paper also doesn't tear off as consistently. Considering it has all the same description parameters , and that it doesn't cost much different than the Sony paper this was a HUGE let down. BTW I didn't buy this because it was cheaper by a few bucks. I bought it because it had all the matching numbers, and because I found it here on AMAZON; what seems to be the new home for knock off garbage!!!

This appears to be a generic as the paper is different from the last role of SonyUPP- 110S. The role inside is brown and Sony has its name imprinted inside the role. Soy paper is made in Japan and this says it was made in USA. For the little you save in paper it isn't worth for this falsely packaged generic.
