I have long hair, and the P30i mask kept tugging at it constantly, which wasn't very pleasant. Furthermore, with that mask, the elastic straps seem to sit right inside the nostrils; if the mask shifts even slightly, the airflow gets cut off. The N30i mask is made entirely of fabric; it doesn't pull or pinch anywhere, and it fits against the nose very comfortably—almost imperceptibly.
