Burt's BeesHydrating Sheet Mask

I found this left my dry sensitive skin very hydrated, others I’ve tried have stung and irritated my skin leaving it red and dry!Not with this, will be getting once a month on subscription to deeply cleanse & hydrate my face once a month.

Does a good job

Love this- very nice face mask. Nice and moist, fits well and works a treat, plenty of hydration without greasiness. At 99% organic too, a winner.

The product was used and tested by my wife whose comments and feedback were used as the basis for this review.A prepared face mask in the form of a single sheet. You simply remove from the packaging and apply the sheet onto your face and leave for around 15 minutes. The mask left the skin on my face nicely hydrated and wonderfully supple feeling.

This is such a simple mask to use that it feels a bit daft- and maybe it’s just a bit too simple. Plonk it on, lie still for five to ten minutes (if you can avoid or ignore the serum dribbling down your neck), take it off, wipe off the excess and you’re done. (Get a five minute timer ready in advance before you start as you won’t be able to see well enough to do it once the mask’s on.)There’s no doubt that there’s quite a good feeling afterwards- your skin does feel moist and glowing, and the aroma is very pleasant throughout. But cynically, I’d say that spending fifteen minutes with your face stuck in pretty much any moisturiser- or even just a good bit of soapy water- will leave you feeling refreshed, and I don’t know if this product really had any special magic properties that anything else doesn’t.After I received this mask I waited a few days before using it as I was in the middle of a small rash of spots and I was worried that they would sting. I tried it when the spots were almost gone, and I’m glad I waited, because I was right- there was a distinct stinging sensation on the bits of the skin which weren’t smooth. After application, the spots felt a little sore, as though I’d stung them with alcohol, not long-term painful but certainly not pleasant. So if you’ve got spots or some more serious skin condition on your face, I would definitely suggest you avoid this, at least for now.The sloppy application of the basic mask, which wasn’t a particularly good match for my face shape, felt silly and required a bit of tidying up, which definitely detracted from the pampering feel.For testing, there was only a single sheet mask so I only had one go at this, so I can’t comment on the long-term benefits of repeated use and whether these are sold in a multipack is currently a bit unclear. A single sheet comes in a large thick paper sachet- a bit like an oversized individually-packed teabag- so it’s not particularly well presented on its own, and wouldn’t go down well as a gift on its own, though it would make a very good inclusion to a custom-made luxury spa hamper or something like that.Like a lot of the other reviewers I’m also a big Burt’s Bees fan and their moisturising creams and salves are lovely, and usually my first choice. This, however, I wasn’t convinced by.

The instructions on this say to apply it, leave it for 5 minutes, remove it and rub in whatever is left on the skin. I applied it in the morning. It's a bit wet so was a bit drippy after I applied it. t fit well onto my face and the eye, nose and mouth holes were in the right places with good coverage from the sheet. I had to wipe my neck once or twice as the drippiness pooled a bit. It was much less drippy on removal and there was surprisingly little liquid on my face. I rubbed it in and noticed that my face did look well hydrated. I applied moisturiser over it, which didn't feel greasy. A great product for a quick pick me up.

Using this Hydrating Face Sheet Mask from Burt's Bees was actually a pleasant experience (well for me it was anyway).Basically this is a single use serum soaked sheet mask, that is designed to fit most people's faces complete with cut-outs for eyes, nostrils and mouth. I found that although it wasn't a perfect fit … it did a pretty good job at fitting my square shaped face.The serum used is thick but not at all sticky nor oily, it contains clary sage essential oil (one of my favourites) and other plant extracts. It is 99% natural and aims to give a super boost of hydration to dehydrated skin.Using this mask was easy, it was simply a case of removing the soaked sheet from its package, unfolding and placing it onto your face … this serum soaked sheet felt extremely cooling on application and remained so throughout the recommended fifteen minutes waiting time.When I removed the mask, I found that there was a surplus of serum left on my face which I rubbed in as my skin is extremely dry. After use my skin definitely looked much brighter, smoother and well moisturised and this remained with me throughout most of the day. Also this mask has a very pleasant fragrance which was not too overpowering.I haven't noticed a reduction in fine lines … I would probably have to use this product a few more times before I could see whether it reduces fine lines.

I have used several of these Burt's Bees facial masks over the past couple,of years and my opinion is every different one I try is an improvement on the last. They are simple to use and hydrate the skin and my skin feels silky and soft and the effect lasts for ages.This particular mask has clary sage which other than giving a little discerning scent. I am not sure what the advantage is, but I do know that after leaving this on for the required five minutes when I peeled it off my skin had a healthy glow and was definitely softer and it feels hydrated after too much sun last week.I really recommend these as there is no mess, the effects are instant and the silky softness on my skin lasts.

La entrega muy bien. Yo tengo la piel demasiado sensible porque padezco rosácea. Casi la mayoría de los productos comerciales me causan algún tipo de irritación o alergia. Esta mascarilla me quedó excelente y no me causó ningún tipo de irritación yo creo porque sus ingredientes son totalmente naturales, me dejo la piel hidratada. Muy recomendable.

Me gusto muchísimo la fórmula, se absorbe muy fácil por la piel y no chorrea demasiado por la cara a pesar de que es una fórmula muy ligera, seguro la volveré a comprar.

Me gustó la mascarilla porque está muy fácil de usar y el producto es buenísimo. La volvería a comprar por el valor.

So ganz passt die Artikelbeschreibung zur Zeit nicht zu dem Produkt, denn meiner Ansicht nach handelt es sich hierbei nicht speziell um ein Produkt für die Augen, sondern eher für das gesamte Gesicht.Wie üblich verzichtet Burts Bees auch bei diesem Produkt auf Parabene, Phtalatene und Mineralöl. Besonders umweltfreundlcih werden solche Masken allerdings generell nicht eingestuft. Im Prinzip handelt es sich um eine Art Feuchttuch und diese sind bekanntlich nicht so klasse für die Umwelt. Laut Burst Bees besteht die Tuch-Maske zu 99% aus natürlichen Inhaltsstoffen. Ich habe aber keine Angabe darüber gefunden, ob das nur für den kosmetisch wirksamen Teil gilt oder auch für das Material der Maske.Die Anwendung ist so wie bei anderen Tuchmasken auch. Die Masken sind einzeln verpackt und müssen vorsichtiig aus der Packung genommen und entfaltet werden. Sie reißen leicht ein. Dabei kann es auch etwas tropfen. Nun wird die Maske auf dem Gesicht drapiert und in diesem Zustand sollte man keinesfalls die Haustür öffnen, wenn es klingelt. Die Optik erinnert doch stark an Horrorfilme ;-)Unangenehm ist das zunächst klebrige Gefühl an den Händen, wenn man die Maske ans Gesicht gedrückt hat. Dieses lässt nach einer Weile nach. Den Duft empfinde ich als angenehm und die Maske hat eine kühlende und erfrischende Wirkung. Man muss sie nicht zwingend im Liegen anwenden - auch wenn so natürlich am besten auch für Entspannung und eine kleine Auszeit gesorgt wird. Man kann aber auch dabei sitzen und Fernsehen oder Büroarbeit erledigen. Rumlaufen ist nicht ganz so bequem damit. Befindet man sich in der Vertikalen, sackt die Feuchtigkeit allerdings langsam nach unten, d.h. an der Stirn trocknet sie schnell ab, am Kinn wird sie sehr feucht. Im Liegen bleibt die Maske gleichmäßger feucht.Die Maske soll maximal 5 Minuten angewendet werden. Diese Zeit habe ich mal locker um das Dreifache überschritten, weil es gerade so heiß ist und ich die Kühlung als sehr angenehm empfinde. Da die Maske auch nach der Anwendung noch sehr feucht ist, habe ich sie anschließend auch noch auf dem Dekollete verwendet. Nach extrem langer Anwendung (wird so nicht empfohlen!!) macht sich bei mir sowohl im Gesicht, als auch im Dekollete-Bereich ein minimales Brennen bemerkbar.Rückstände der Maske können einmassiert und müssen nicht entfernt werden. Allerdings bleibt auch heirbei wieder zunächst ein etwas klebriges Gefühl, das von selbst vergeht. Die Haut fühlt sich dann hinterher wirklich sehr schön weich und gepflegt an.Die Wirkung der Maske gefällt mir recht gut, allerdings finde ich das Produkt insgesamt nicht sehr umweltfreundlich, da sich jede einzelne Maske in einer beschichteten Verpackung befindet. Ein Produkt aus der Tube oder Glas spart dabei sicherlich Verpackungsmüll. Auch die Maske selbst ist letztlich Müll, der durch einfaches Eincremen vermieden werden kann. Das ist natürlich jetzt sehr streng beurteilt, aber ich finde Burts Bees ist eine Produktserie, die von Menschen verwendet wird, die sich doch ein wenig mehr Gedanken um Gesundheit und Umwelt machen. Da passt das nicht so wirklich.Da die Maske nach Anwendung im Gesicht und Dekollete immer noch feucht war, habe ich sie auch noch um einen Fuß gewickelt ;-)Auch hierbei ist sehr schön die feuchtigkeitsspendende Wirkung bemerkbar. Es gibt herrlich glatte Haut danach.
