I bought these shoes after doing a lot of research, and I hoped they would last a long time. After 18 months of moderate use (commuting on public transport, not working on a farm) the right boot has worn through. I did wear them most days in that time (I'm a one pair of shoes person) but I still expected at least a few years use from them based on the hype. Perhaps shoes that last longer than 18 months just don't exist anymore. They are comfortable enough, and I'd still probably recommend them, but don't expect to buy them for life.

Very disappointing that the recommended size 4 was far too small . Then I look at getting the next half size up and those would be £30 more and the size above that £24 more. Really disappointing experience, especially as this brand used to be priced for workers as they were work boots. Now worn by every pretentious urbanite pretending to be rural, the prices are just too high. Like Levi's another brand sell out. I need good strong well made and comfortable boots for work but £125?! Sad.

The service from Shoe Station Direct was excellent, delivery was fast and my questions answered quickly! Sadly, despite the product being fantastic, they do run a half size to a full size big as they are much wider than standard UK sizes. Some may appreciate this loose fit.

This is my third pair of these in a different colour way. I bought my first pair of Blunnies while touring Australia in 1990 and only buy this brand as they're comfortable for all day wear and hard wearing. My last pair were bought in Perth, WA in 2007 and have been worn daily since and only now are the soles starting to wear out! For lasting comfort and hard wear you can't buy better! Bought these boots for everyday dog walking. First thing in the morning when the dew is on the ground they are perfect waterproof boots. Remember you do need a decent sock for the comfort factor. I found they were comfortable from the off.Quality leather, good looking, comfortable. Great purchase.
