We live these hats, they are east to use and roll back up and definitely help keep the bugs out of the face without having to wear a full bug shirt that makes you super hot.

Works well. Who cares what people think of how you look in it, at least no mosquitoes on your head!

First thing I want to say is that I have a big head. Most hats do not comfortably fit. So I was concerned of its size. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit very well and actually was a tiny bit loose. This wasn’t a problem and stayed very comfortably on my head even in a breeze. The material is very lightweight and there are netted vent holes on the sides so overheating is not an issue. These hats are flexible, so you can easily fold it or twist it to condense the size for easy storage. The netting that covers the face is great! You get sufficient air flow but no bugs! The netting does not touch your face and it doesn’t fold or overlap. Because it’s ribbed (for lack of a better word) it stays in place away from your face. Very comfortable. Honestly even though it’s black mesh I had no issue seeing clearly. I live in the country and we have horrible black flies, mosquitos and the dreaded nosseeums to name a few. I cannot tell you how awesome it was to see a big cluster of tint gnat type bugs on the mesh knowing they would have been on my face had it not been for this hat! The tiny bugs that are attracted to co2 the air you breathe out were not an issue. The rim of the hat is great for keeping the sun out of your eyes as well. The mouth zipper.... Bonus! You need to cut that slit open if you want to use it. Very easy to do. The benefit of this zipper is being able to have a drink without having to take the hat off to do so. Because it’s a zipper you can open it a tiny bit for a straw or wider depending on what you’re drinking. Ample space. *IF YOURE A SMOKER... 👎🏼* I was a smoker... it’s doable, but it’s awkward. Because the mesh is a couple of inches away from your face, you need to pull the hat kind of flat into your face to avoid burning the mesh. Again, doable just awkward and you run the risk of a burn hole. I didn’t burn mine, but I chose not to smoke much when it was on. I’ve since quit so that problem is solved. Smoking was the main reason I bought this hat. I’ve since quit, but I love being able to enjoy a cold beverage and remain bug free.

This hat is the best, definitely saves my face from any fly. I am a woman and I like to keep my hair in a pony tail, so because of this, it's hard to find a hat what fits good. This hat fits perfect, if my hair is down it's a little loose but I don't mind. It's easy to see through and I love the zipper so you don't have to take the it off if you want to drink. I use it for gardening and hiking. I have one in my car incase I go near any bugy place. Worth every penny.

Although this netted hat will keep all the bugs out, I bought it specifically for the gnats we have here. We live in a rural township and gnats are a huge problem in the spring and summer. You just cannot get away from them. Gardening is horrible, going to get the mail or taking out the dog for a walk - all horrible UNLESS, of course, you wear this hat! I have researched netted hats, and this is by far the best choice and the best deal since you get two of them. They are a bit on the larger side, so if you have a small head they may be a little too big. To solve this problem, I just put a clip on the back of the hat to make it tighter and it works just fine. It has a solid ring that holds the bottom of the net out from your body, which makes it a much better hat because it keeps the bugs from actually touching your face. You can purchase netting to put on top of your own hat, but it touches your face, and the bugs will be able to touch your face, then, also. This hat alleviates this problem. I even purchased a set for my neighbors and they love them! They wear them all summer long. We look like we are going on a safari, but I could care less what I look like, as long as the bugs stay out of my face! :) Great product. Highly recommend.

These lovely hats arrived promptly. Beware unpacking. It contains jump scares. I wont tell you anything other than that. The hats fit both mine & my wife's large heads. They are well made and breathable. I look forward to using them and thwarting the gnats from flying into all of my orifices. I wanted to post all the pics we took in the loverly hats, but the woman wouldn't let me. That is all.

Small gnats still manage get inside, which is awful because now you have to find a way to smash them without taking the hat off and risking the rath of the bigger ones. It’s good for avoiding mosquito bites to the face though. Also, good luck trying to fold it up, I couldn’t figure it out. Admittedly I’m not very bright, but my wife tried it too and she’s wicked smart, she couldn’t get it to fold up either. I also tried to wear it as just a sun hat without the net down, that didn’t work at all, made me look like a fool

I like to use a product before slapping up a review. I have used this in the garden and in the woods roughly 3 times a week for 6 months. It works as expected. If you dont like the bugs in your face, this works great to keep them out. The hat and net are quality and there are no issues with stitching or tears. The rim on top and bottom keep the net from resting on your skin and allowing bugs to bite. The netting is also small enough to keep out no-see-ums. If you enjoy the outdoors but cant stand the bugs this will work well for you. I am not disappointed with my purchase.

This is a great product. It was not bought for warmth or thickness but to keep the bugs away. It does its job No problem. There are two drawstrings: One to keep the hat on your head and the other to tighten the insect netting around your throat so they can’t get in. It stops insects from flying in your face, mouth, nose and ears. The insects are still there but one removed. With proper clothing, you should be able to avoid getting bitten at all! Heartily recommend!

I love the convenient packaging. Both hats fold up and fit in a bag, and pop open easily when you take them out. Sometimes it makes a cracking kind of noise when you twist it to fold it back up again, but it so far hasn't effect the product (the rim hasn't deformed and it still has popped open easily every time ive used it). Yes as others have said, the zip is hilarious since there is still mesh behind it when you unzip it, but I think thats great since you can make the hole in the mesh however big you like (straw sized, mouth sized etc). Love the double zip cords - one to keep the hat on your head at the other to close the mesh around you at the bottom. Great to have the breathable panels on the head, but the mesh size is a bit bigger in those panels so keep an eye on that - tiny critters could get through easier up there. The only drawback is the hat has no real headband or rigidity so it struggles to stay put and slides around quite a bit . I would recommend wearing another hat underneath to provide some stability and stop it slipping down over your face. Overall Im very happy with it - the mesh is generously long and it does the job.

Compact, good value. Hat is great and totally water proof. Net pull string around the neck didn't last long. Had to replace with string. Net is kinda thin and small black bugs bury through but great for everything else

Similar to the other positive reviews. Hat fits comfortably and netting does the job. Zipper works, but you need to cut a hole, like others have mentioned.
