Despite the claims, back of the phone cracked from a simple hip height drop
I rarely drop my phone. But, it happens. With all of the testing and marketing claims behind Mous, I expected more. Especially since I've never cracked the back of any phone I've owned, with any case, ever. I was using Mous 2.0 on my iPhone X when I dropped the device from my pocket. I heard an odd sound when it hit. The front was fine, but when I took the phone out of the case, the back was shattered. In contacting support, they let me know that while they claim what they claim in the protective nature of Mous, they cannot support/help with any damage caused by a drop. I guess I wouldn't have cared much if it was a $10 case off of Amazon. But, after buying Mous specifically for it's protective abilities, this is pretty disappointing. Maybe I'm just an outlier, or it was just that odd of a fall.

Not satisfied and can't return. Not worth the price.
These are the things I'm looking for in an iPhone cover.1. Magnetic capability for my car vent mount.2. wireless charging capability3. Some type of standThis cover I thought would provide 2 out of the 3 which was advertised (wireless charging and magnetic cover). First, the magnetic cover didn't work on the car mount at all. There does seem to be small magnets in the cover and isn't just metal plates but tried putting this thing on the fridge and it would just slide down. The magnets are powerful enough to hold so I miss the point on why they exist. As far as the wireless charging, it doesn't seem to work on my wireless charger. So there's that. I decided to send it back but read their return policy and if the package is open then you can't return it.Overall, very disappointed with the product especially for the price I paid. Holy moly.

Someone was not thinking. A basic design flaw.
Did anyone tell them that you swipe up to open your iPhone now? What do they have? A lip that protrudes above the screen, at the bottom, so you can’t swipe up. You sort of have to get your finger jammed up against the lip and then swipe up. Doesn’t always work and takes way too much thinking about what to do.

Not made for iPhone XS!
Purchased this directly from Mous. Their website says made for iPhone XS but it is actually the iPhone X case. The camera lense doesn’t fit right and looks odd. They refunded my money after a ton of back and forth. Buyer beware their advertis misleading for the iPhone XS cases!Box clearly states iPhone X and I had to argue to get my money back.

Magnetic feature doesn’t seem to be universal.
I got a recommendation from my brother in law and was excited to receive this in the mail. It’s a great case, very sturdy and has a nice built in feature that elevates the phone when it lies in its face which to me is quite nice. The ONLY reason why I’m not completely satisfied is the fact that the magnets built in the case won’t completely adhere to my magnetic car mount I have in my car from my old case. It seems like there are certain positions in the case where the magnets lie so the case doesn’t seem to have a universal fit for other magnet mounts so this feature does not work for my purposes.

Do not purchase this a complete waste of money
We purchased this and have had our iphone for two years never a problem, then two weeks after having this the phone dropped from a short distance and broke, we contacted the vendor who said, basically we stand behind our product. We did not return it at that time HUGE mistake, we fix the phone $170.00 and three weeks later the phone breaks again and this time no money to spend another 170.00 to fix it and NOW it is too late to return We have never written a review before but, feel everyone needs to know not to purchase this item it is expensive and a complete waste of money with horrible customer service.

Seemed to work great until I took the case off...
I removed the case to access the SIM card and realized the glass back was shattered (iPhone X). I have ordered an Otter Box for a replacement.Updated to change rating to 1 star when I found out fixing the glass back was the cost of a new phone.

Quality protection
I'd decided to 'up-grade' my iPhone Xs case from a previously purchased 'cheapy' to a Mous after watching their videos of their cases durability. I must say I am impressed with the Mous case. You receive a free screen protector & a link to a YouTube video which walks you through an easy installation. It's a quality case.

love it!
I bought an iPhone Xs so I naturally wanted to ensure it was protected, I saw the Mous ads and thoughtI will get one with my new phone.Size - The phone still fits in the palm of my hand and doesn't bulk out my pocket when walking.Feel - When you spend over £40+ on a case you expect quality, you feel just that when you touch the case.Design - Loved the design, only down side on Mous is I wish you had more colours.Protection - You can just feel the security of the case, I have no intention of throwing my phone around but hope thatthe case and screen protector steps up when needed.Customer care - I messed up my first attempt at applying my screen protector to my phone.Alex then legend at Mous hooked me up with a replacement within days.Overall, great looking case which makes my phone feel safe, great customer service, I woulddefinitely buy from Mous again.ThanksChris

iPhone cracked whilst inside case
I bought a brand new iPhone XS just before Christmas and decided as it is a very expensive phone, I would spend extra on a very reliable case, in order to protect it. My new phone now has a crack on the back of it, horizontally from one side to the other, whilst this 'amazing' phone case was on it. The phone has not been dropped, bashed, tampered with at all. I now have a damaged almost new iPhone and a case that looks great but obviously doesn't do anything it is said to do. I will not be using, nor recommending, MOUS cases again.

Big and Heavy!!
Just received mine, first thing to come to mind: Massive!I’m surprised it was promoted as a slim and light case! It adds a lot of bulk and weigh to the already heavy(ish) iPhone XSMoreover the screen protector didn’t stick as it should’ve, I can tell that it’s gonna peel off soon, from the bottom right corner to be accurate.I’m not gonna return it as I’ve already opened and used it, and at the end of day there’s no fault with it! only I can’t help but feel it wasn’t promoted in the most honest way possible

A great case with three minor caveats.
I've had the case for for a little over three weeks. It feels robust and looks great. I've not tested dropping my phone nor do I intend to but the construction of the case looks to be able to withstand a drop from any reasonable height. The case is easy to fit and leaves plenty of space around the ports for connectors etc. The buttons are ares very responsive so there is no issue trying to click the mail control button. (An issue I had with the Rhinoshield bumper I had been using previously.) The case overhangs the front of the phone so that the screen is protected if the phone falls onto its face. This overhang is reduced around the middle making the phone comfortable to hold when taking a call. The negative issues that I have are that the edge of the case on the overhang around the screen is very angular and if you are taking a call in a noisy area the edge cuts into your ear if you are holding the phone tight against it to hear the caller. The screen protector is too small. There is a 5mm gap between it and the edge of the case. This may not seem like much but it means you catch your finger on it if you are swiping from any of the edges of the screen and as it's a glass protector it is a noticeable edge that you always feel. I think they should have made the screen protector almost the same size as the case so that it could be applied when the case was on the phone. that would have been perfect. The last issues is with wireless charging. I find my charger starts cutting out when my phone isn't exactly lined up with the base plate. I presume it's interference from the magnets but it can be very annoying when the screen lights up to show its charging then after a moment stops charging and then lights up again as if it's just been placed on the charger pad.Pros -Great looking case that is very robust and fits well.Cons -The edge of the case can dig into your ear if you hold it too close. The screen protector is too small and catches your finger swiping from any of the edges.Wireless charging can be hit or miss unless you get it lined up exactly.Overall I would recommend with the caveats in mind. I'm hoping over time the edge smooths off a little. I removed my protector as I don't think it really needs it as I'm careful about what goes into the same pocket as my phone.

The trouble is with the screen protecor.
I have an iPhone X, and a wallet style case by Apple. The Apple case is very good. To use the phone as a camera to its full potential, I bought a Joby tripod. As the Apple case does not work with the Joby tripod, I purchased theMous Limitless 2.0 Protective iPhone X/XS Case - Aramid Carbon Fibre. This case works fine with the Joby tripod. But the screen protector (included with the case) has two alignment tabs labelled 1 and 2. Tab 1 was no problem, but tab 2 would not budge and removing it stretched the protective film. The protective film looks a mess in the top right corner, and there are a few small bubbles that I cannot remove.I also purchased a Mous Hybrid Glass Screen Protector - iPhone X/XS - Hybrid - Anti-Scratch & Shatterproof. The problem with this is its green tint, which gives colour distortion. If it was clear it would no doubt be a perfect compliment for the case. Hopefully the iPhone X, Mous Case, Glass screen protector, and Joby tripod would all then work perfectly well together.

Bulkier than expected
Personally I hated it and re sold the item shortly after. The case takes away all the beauty of the iPhone XS. It’s plastiky and it is although clearly well engineered. So do really want to sacfricice all the beauty of your phone for protection. The carbon fibre is no where as nice as the beautiful white polished back of the XS. Don’t let this review stop you buying it as this is my personal taste, but if you like sleak cases this case is not for you.

Perfect Protection
This is my second mous limitless 2.0 case. The first being a carbon fibre one. I simply picked up the new leather one just to have another option. It is beautifully elegant as it is modular as with the embedded magnets that come as standard they can be paired with a mous flip wallet case giving you a removable folio wallet and also a card wallet made of leather that snugly slips on the back to give you a descrete 2 card wallet. There is also a wall mount that I use as an in car mounting accessory giving you the Swiss army of phone cases. I have a hard rugged case, car mounting solution and also a wallet that is removable when I get home meaning I no longer have to carry a separate wallet. Also included is a screen protector that can withstand hammer hits. Very strong and durable. Also every item comes with a lifetime warranty included from purchase. I have had my flip wallet replaced due to some unfortunate manufacturing error and mous were great about it. One email and a reply that included pictures and a replacement was on its way to me.Highly highly recommended.

Built like a brick poop place
I have dropped my iPhone on steel tread plate at work 5 times, on one occasion I fully stood on it, and another occasion it bounced down the stairs taking three or four hits before landing face down. This case is verging on unbelievable for the protection its afforded my phone. I always have my phone in my coverall front pocket, and its been squashed and had my body weight laid on it more times than is healthy for a phone. It really is an incredibly tough phone case, and its worth the money to protect such an expensive and otherwise fragile handset.I never take the phone out of the MOUS, and despite the added bulk I never find the phone unwieldily. In the carbon fibre I think the case looks quite cool too.

Does not protect - The ads are misleading - DO NOT BUY!!!
I have read a few reviews now about how the Mous case failed to protect the back of iPhones. Sadly the same thing happened to me. And when I contacted Mous support, they offered to replace the case...completely idiotic response...the phone’s back cracked...replacing the case wont change that! I had bought the Mouse Limitless case based on all the adverts showering the phone being dropped from incredible angles and heights and surviving without any damage. In my case, a simple drop from waist height, killed the back. Shame on you Mous for false advertising. I will never buy your products. I would give you no stars if that were possible!!!

Easy to scratch, Easy to drop
Had the case for 24 hours and already have a few problems with it, the wood on the back after only a few hours on sitting on my desk whilst I do work is scratched up and has 2 large scratches on, for being wood and for being as expensive as it is I expected better, the phone case also collects a lot of dirt and crime in its many grooves and gaps, the bottom of the phone also has a lip on it which makes it hard to swipe up to unlock sometimes, I know this is to protect the screen but seems unnecessarily large for what it needs to be.My main problem with the case however is how slippy it is to hold and pick up, for a case that’s known for protecting your phone the best, you’d expect it to do just that as I find myself having to catch it mid drop as I’m not used to having a case so slippy, all my previous cases have been pretty grippy.Other than that the case is pretty decent build quality (apart from the easily scratchable wood) but I wouldn’t say it’s worth it’s full price tag, would 100% wait for it to go on offer

Totaler Schrott!

Fab fab fab. Your phone costs 50x the price of this case. You won’t get better protection.
This is my second Mous case. I bought one after crowd funding the first case for the iPhone 7.I have only dropped my iPhone 7 twice outside on to concrete and not only is the phone 100% but the case seems to self heal as it does not have any scratches on the edges. I have since told family and friends and they have all bought these cases. They might seem expensive, but trust me the cases are top quality and after spending £1150 on my new iPhone I would not use any other case. The screen protector is also a bonus. If you want a great case and top quality service and support you will not be disappointed. If I could give 10 stars I would they are that good. I have been an amazon member for 18 years and these guys give fab support and I have not been paid or given a free case to leave this feedback.

Pricey, but good.
I've just received my case and as such cannot fairly say anything about durability etc. What I can say is that I like it more than I thought I would. It feels nice in the hand, I like the carbon fibre and it fits the phone well. The materials do not feel cheap or slippery to me, as I've seen others say in their reviews. I really like the fact that there are magnetic accessories for it and look forward to getting some of them.I've given 4 out of 5 stars purely due to the cost of the case and the accessories. I can understand a decent phone case being in the 30 to 40 pound price range, but for all the accessories and mounts to be in the 20 to 30 pound range means the cost of buying into Mous products is a little bit too high. If the case was just magnetic so I could stick it to anything I would have given 5 stars for sure.

A good quality protective case
The Mous case I've chosen - definitely leaves me feeling that my phone is well protected. I am a little uncertain about getting the phone out again (and have seen a couple of stories that do not seem to end well). However there is help to be found on Youtube in terms of technique for removal. I'm sure a calm mind and patient approach will win put.Otherwise it's all good. The case feels well made and looks like a quality product. Side on, the top and bottom of the case have slightly raised lips which (I hope) will protect the screen in the case of a fall. The case itself has a firm softness to it and I expect that in most situations (involving gravity and sudden stops) it will do its job. I am not experimenting however. The case came with a screen protector - which I've decided (having had 2 1/2 years without one) to use. Whilst easily applied it's slightly too small all round (for my thinking) leading to a slight ridge - which catches the finger slightly if scrolling close to an edge.

Great case but didn’t do the one job I bought it to do.
Ok, so I originally had the bamboo but gave it to my wife so I purchased the Walnut version. Fitted the included screen protector which is a nice touch to include but it’s not any better than many others available on Amazon imo. So, durability, Mous have made a big thing about this, dropping it from a helicopter, asking members of the public to hurl it at the ground etc. Now, I have the iPhone X, it’s fairly new and had 0 damage. I dropped the phone at work, second floor scaffolding, (18 - 20ft up), straight down onto a block paved floor. It hit nothing else on the way down and landed face up. Did it break? Yes it did. The back glass was shattered and the camera was also damaged. It needed to be replaced not repaired. Luckily with Apple Care it didn’t cost me a ridiculous amount, £80 I think. The phone was still tight in the case when I picked it up, it didn’t fall out or anything, so it was just definitely impact damage. They are great cases, they look great and I have no doubt they are very durable but I have had in the past rival cases do a better job at protecting phones. For example, I dropped my 7Plus at least 30ft onto similar ground whilst roofing (yeh I’m clumsy) and it was fine. Luck of the draw maybe.
