KotobukiManeki Neko Charm Kai-un Collectible Figurine, Fortune, Gold

I purchased the first one of these in the gift shop of an art museum and really liked it so I got a few more online and now I have 6-7. But I noticed something, that the one I got in the museum had instructions in English for where to place it, and most of the other colors, in the proper direction that it's supposed to face if you're interested in the feng shui aspect of it too. The ones I've gotten off amazon either don't have any info inserts or they're in Japanese. So: it has directions for yellow, red, white, green, pink, black and gold (there are more colors available of these and other maneki neko charms, but they're more 'modern' so I haven't been able to find any specific instructions on where they should be placed). Gold ornaments should be grouped with other ornaments in order to increase their power. Gold is considered the most powerful color and can mean financial, business success, or just luck and power in general which is why they work better grouped with others. Hope that helps anyone interested in feng shui! (I'm not super into it, but I am a little superstitious) There are apps you can download that give you cardinal directions if you don't have a compass.

This little kitty is absolutely adorable! Just the right size as a decoration on my piano. I bought a white and a gold one. Makes a cute pair! Lucky cats! 😁

I find these little guys so enjoyable sitting on my shelf. I smile whenever I walk by them, I have 3, one each black, white & gold. They are good quality; the painted features are crisp not sloppy. I relocate them periodically, so I don't stop seeing them.

I've been focused on accomplishing wealth, and this Maneki Neko is a lovely addition to my efforts. You can tell these ceramic figurines are handmade with a lot of care. Funny enough, I researched Feng Shui maps and my bedroom is the wealth portion of the house, so I feel a little responsible for the entire household. I've set this up on a bookshelf and it's an eye-catching, friendly reminder. The only criticism of sorts is that the Japanese writing tags are stickers and the rectangular sticker doesn't wrap around the curves of the figurine evenly, with a few edges popped up. Otherwise I love it and it feels lucky.

Well made. So cute. Perfect for me! Purchased one of each color & they are all so cute. Not too big & not too small, perfect as a collection piece! I only wish that they had included the significance of each color, but with a little research I answered that question for myself & it didn’t detract from my enjoyment!!

I love the waving cats and was going to buy a traditional one but then I came across this one and I fell in love! I like the modern design and the various colors that it comes in for different Feng Shui uses. This one is a shimmery, soft, vibrant gold - not overbearing. Perfect size to tuck in anywhere! I also bought a red one and a green one (they are more of a matte finish) and will be back for other colors. Arrived sooner than expected. Thanks!

This is so cute! I have it in my office at work, I always get compliments on it. It arrived intact and is holding up well on the shelf, definitely would buy as a gift!

Adorable little cat. The package arrived pretty quick. It is very small in size but good quality item and designed paint. Cute product as a little gift. It makes me smile every time I see it. I'm pleased with the purchase and plan on buying the rest of the colors/good fortunes.
