I ordered this scale to measure the poundage pull as I adjusted my new compound bow. It worked perfectly. The scale was well made, contained two heavy metal S hooks, and needed batteries. I hooked one S hook to a fixed overhead point, attached the scale, then placed the second S hook on the bottom section of the scale. I placed the bow string into the bottom S hook. I carefully pulled down on bow and read the scale's readout. Large and clear numbers are easy to read. I probably will use this scale about once or twice a year to adjust bow weight. I took out the batteries and put everything back in the box until next time. I felt the unit was sturdy, solid, and well worth the money I paid for measuring up to a 70# pull. I have no doubt that the weight reading was accurate. Great guarantee in the event that unit is defective or doesn't work...but mine was fine.

This is a VERY unfair review, so bear with me.This was a very well made unit....easy to read and use. Unfortunately about 15 minutes after receiving it, it fell off the kitchen table onto my linoleum floor and the digital screen shattered causing the display to become unreadable and the unit was essentially useless to me. I never got to use it.Now, me dropping it 30 inches onto the floor was all my fault....but this should be able to handle a drop like that without rendering the unit useless.

We bought this to weigh our very large dog. We needed an exact weight on him so the vet can sedate him. This was helpful. We put him in a crate and used a hoist to lift him. This scale provided an easy to read display, and exact weight and it worked exactly like we needed it to . We are happy with our purchase.

I bought this scale to measure tension in a rope. It was unclear in other reviews whether this scale could read a 'max' tension when the load is varying. It cannot register a max load when the load is changing. The load has to remain stable for about 2 seconds for it to 'capture' the value and save it.The faceplate is easy to read. I just wish the auto shut off could be turned off. In my application, I would rather burn through some extra batteries and have a setting that leaves the scale 'on' until I manually turn it off.Speaking of batteries - the included batteries are a complete joke. Light as a feather. I didn't bother using them because they felt like air.

I was looking for something like this one since long. Including myself, I have many frequent int'l travellers in my family. We always need a weighing machine to avoid overweight (or to know the weight) just before travel. And we always look for our one and only body rusty old forgotten weighing scale from bathrooms or from under someone bed. And it takes time to adjust the machine to set to zero, then a big fight to stand on it with luggage, then deduct own weight from the total. Now it solved all of these nasty jobs. Well made. Sturdy. Regular AAA batteries, not those button cells that's expensive to buy. It's a bit overkill being 150kg weigh-capability, but I now have peace of mind knowing I can now weigh a 100kg fish if I catch one someday....you never know!

It is small and compact enough to be portable by anyone. It is accurate and gives weights in Lbs, Kgs, and Jin. With a proper sling can be used to weigh large pieces with accuracy. It can be used to weigh a number of items including wild game, freight. Be aware of the limits of the manufactures recommendation for use as well as minimums and maximums. All in all a great unit for the price and I would recommend to anyone.

Tried using it for refrigeration charging in a car. The car required 1.35lbs from a 22lb R134a bottle. This required slowly draining the tank down to charge the system. After a full charge the gauge still registered zero, even though it was capable of reading in the negatives. The scale also times out after a few minutes so even if it did get a reading it gets reset before the charge is complete.

Really like this scale but that hold feature is really annoying. I use it to adjust weights and while adding or removing product it keeps freezing the weight. Would be 5 star if there was a option to permanently turn this feature off.

I like it so far, I will use it for deer. I tested it with couple things I know the weight (like me and my daughter) pretty accurate. It’s a good buy. I saw other model with exact same size and look but cheaper on amazon, but there’s more reviews for that one.
