No they are vacuum sealed to achieve an R value There is now a new energy saving glass Block by Seves which is Argon filled though

Do these have a hole in the bottom of the block?

No I’m sorry these are vacuum sealed for use in wall or window applications. You can cut a hole in the block using a diamond bit drill and water. Otherwise we have a DecoBloc.which has a cutout and plugs in 6x6. 8x8. And 4x8 sizes also selling on Amazon.
